Chapter One Hundred & Ninty-One

“What are you doing here?” Clara asked, surprised.

She wondered what he was doing in the hospital because he didn't look sick.

“I should be asking you the same,” Martins said.

Clara didn't respond but kept waiting for an explanation like she was entitled to one.

“I was worried about you, I thought you left me,” Martins admitted.

He said, finally giving in to her silent demand.

“So you decided to stalk me?” Clara asked.

She wanted to be angry but she knew that Martins’ actions were justified.

“Well you weren't answering or returning my calls so I was worried as a normal boyfriend should be,” Martins responded.

“So what are you doing in the hospital? I thought you worked at a touring company?” Martins questioned.

Clara was already prepared for anything so she responded almost immediately.

“There was a minor accident during one of my tours and so I am responsible for checking up on the client,” Clara lied.
