Chapter One Hundred & Ninty-Six

Melanie prepared dinner for her husband, Jamal today. They had been so busy resolving a lot of issues that they forgot all about themselves and she wanted to rekindle that spark she once had with Jamal.

The table was set with diverse delicious meals and exotic wines. The table was designed with fancy lights and rose petals decorated all over.

She wanted to make Jamal happy and relaxed so she had other plans besides dinner for him.

Jamal got home and was surprised by what Melanie did but before he could object to having dinner, Melanie pulled him and they both ate.

“You did all these yourself?” Jamal asked, puzzled.

When did she make the time for all of this? He thought. She was always working even when she didn't go to the office so he wondered how she was able to pull off all these.

“Yes and there's more,” Melanie said with a satisfied smile.

“More?” Jamal repeated, astonished.

Melanie didn't say anything, instead, she pulled him again and this time, it was towards their bedroom door.
