Chapter One Hundred & Seventy

Jamal was worried after what happened with Melanie yesterday. He wanted to see her and check if she was doing fine.

She has refused to take his calls, so today he concluded all his work on time just to see her.

He got to the front door of Melanie's father's house and was met with the presence of his wife, Melanie.

“What are you doing here?!” Melanie asked, surprised.

Jamal was the last person she was expecting to see at this hour, in her father's house.

“I am good if that is what you are asking,” Jamal said.

He was unhappy about his wife's decision to leave and he was to get a valid reason for the separation.

She looked pale and stressed too. He wondered what she had been up to that made her appear tired.

“As you can see, I am perfectly fine,” Melanie answered.
