Chapter One Hundred & Twenty-Three

"Where should I start from?" She mumbled to herself.

She paced the room, her mind consumed by worry. Her husband, Jamal, lay motionless in a hospital bed, his once vibrant spirit reduced to a mere flicker.

Determined to uncover the truth, she had called Dennis to tell him exactly what Doctor Richester had told her.

"He is right." Dennis nodded in agreement after listening to her narration.

"Dennis, we can't just sit here and do nothing." She said, her voice tinged with desperation.

"We need to find out what caused Jamal's condition and if possible, find the antidote that might save him." She said abruptly and Dennis nodded in agreement, his face etched with concern.

"I couldn't agree more, Melanie. We need answers." Dennis said.

"But, where can we get this evidence? How can we find those bastards who tried to ruin my husband's life?" She questioned anxiously, staring at Dennis.
