“You are back.” Cassie sighed.

“I warned you not to come to my office.” He hissed.

“But, we need to talk.” Cassie urged him sadly, approaching his desk.

“Talk about what?” He questioned seriously. “Letting you off easily should be the best option for you to accept and leave.” He informed her.

“But I’m still in love with you!” Cassie cried out.

“In love with me or the money that your client paid you to deceive me?” He raised a brow, giving her a dirty look. Cassie was taken aback by his candid statement.

“What? What do you mean?” Cassie stammered, unable to control the guilt she was having.

“Do you think I’m so stupid that I don’t know what you are doing?” He smirked, standing from his seat.

“From the day you took me home in my drunk state, I knew. I became more confident when I went to your house and happened to see transaction slips and files.” He paused and looked at her. “You are playing with a tiger yet you are not being careful.” He clenched his fist in anger.
