Chapter Sixty
“Will you eat or not?” Cassie grumbled, trying to force the food into an old man’s mouth.

“Stop. Stop.” The old man refused. “Stop, I’m not hungry.” The old man pushed the spoon away and rather than having mercy for him, Cassie gave him a hard slap on his face.

“Do you take me for a fool?” Cassie yelled at him. “After despising me and pouring all the love to my siblings, I’m now the only one who can take care of you. Why not call them to come?” Cassie laughed at him in disgust. “They all ran away and left you, and you think I will really ‘care’ for you?” Cassie questioned scornfully.

“I don’t want you, Cassie.” The old man said grumpily.

“Then stop calling me or reporting me to the state authorities! I want you out of my life!” Cassie yelled at him. “Can’t you just live on your own and let me be?” She questioned him in annoyance.

She sat down again, pulling him by the wheelchair close to her. “Now, I want you to finish this bowl so I can get out of here.” She urged him arrogantly, forc
