Chapter Thirty-Five
"You know I don't love you, right?" He raised a brow. There was a long silence between them.

"I know but we have to convince my father first." She exhaled deeply.

"Then, let's do it. I will no longer stay here anyways, if he can claim his mansion immediately, then I have to leave because it's not mine." He informed her shortly.

"Do you really have to leave? Where will you stay?" She asked, looking anxious.

"That's none of your business, just tell your father that we are dating." He squeezed out a smile, picked up his bag, and strolled out of the mansion. Melanie watched him without a word.

"Ma'am, should we continue with your ur father's task?" One of the men questioned her courteously.

"Wasn't that what you were doing?" She hissed and stormed out of the mansion.

On the street, Jamal took out his phone and dialed a number. A contact he hasn't called for almost a month and counting. After two rings, the person picked.
