Chapter Two Hundred & Fifty-Eight

The woman was on the floor begging him to help her with the money for hospital bills. He looked at her and saw the tears that were flowing down her face. He wanted to mind his business and go his way but the woman dragged his legs back.

“ Help me please, I have no one else to turn to,” he jerked his legs to get a grip.

Reuben sat on his bed, and the tears he had been holding in came out. He sat on the ground and began to cry. He had not seen his mother for so many years.
