Chapter Two Hundred & Nine

Melanie had called Clara to her house. She was so excited to discuss her pregnancy with Clara. One thing was that Alex was out of the way, the stress she had gone through to get a private investigator to monitor Alex was all over as the services of Alex would no longer be needed.

She was waiting for Clara, she had already prepared Clara's favorite. The doorbell rang and she went to the door to get it. She knew who it would be. She opened it and was disappointed to see another person at the door. It was a delivery man that was outside. She took the delivery and closed the door.

It was a flower and a pack of chocolate. She smiled, she knew who it was from. She took it inside admiring the flowers.

Just as she was about to open the chocolate, she heard another knock on the door. She dropped the chocolate and went to open it. It was Clara this time, she welcomed her in. They hugged and she began to talk about the flowers and the chocolate that she just received.
