Chapter Two Hundred & Eight

Alex did not want to believe it. She was so angry at the news. She sat in her office, having no energy to do any work at all. She was devastated. She stayed that way till she closed for the day. She packed and left the office without saying a word to anyone.

She got home and then the tears that had been in her eyes, she let it out. She pulled her shoes and clothes and kept them on the bed. She could not walk up the stairs as she remained downstairs, sitting on one of her couches. She picked up her phone and tried to call Madam Theresa but she stopped. What was she going to tell her? She thought. She began to cry again.

When she had dared to call. She dialed her number, she wanted Madam Theresa to know about what was going on so they could know what to do next, it was beginning to look like her coming here was in vain. She called Madam Theresa, she picked up at first ring.
