Chapter Two Hundred & Twenty-Eight

Melanie had been restless for days now. She was worried about the whereabouts of Jamal. Since they sent their gatekeeper to the hospital and he went to the hospital to check how he was doing, she had not heard from him again. It scared her a lot. She went to the hospital to ask the doctors if they saw Jamal. They all said that they had not seen him since the last day he was at the hospital.

The gatekeeper was discharged. Melanie was glad that he did not die. She began to search for Jamal. His number was not going through either. She was beginning to think that Jamal was playing a fast one on her but it seemed like he had disappeared into the thin air. She thought about the many places he could be. She drove to those places but could not find him.

She did not want to let the police know yet that her husband was missing. She kept on searching.
