Dennis had gone to inform Clara of the present condition of Melanie.

" Oh my Goodness" Clara exclaimed.

" This is too much for Jamal to bear," Dennis said.

He told her that they were going to the hospital. She had wanted to join them but Dennis asked her to stay back because he did not want Jamal to know that he already told her about Melanie's condition.

He hugged Clara before leaving.

Jamal walked slowly to the car. He entered the back seat while Dennis was by his side at the back seat as the driver came to drive them. Jamal gave the driver the address of the hospital and the driver drove them there.

When they got there, he got into the hospital and was immediately recognized. He did not want to draw attention as his mind was on the well-being of his wife.
