A Place for Me

"I'm tired."

Ian said as he lay flat on the bed. The ceiling of his room was as shiny as always.

"I'm so tired."

He said as he rolled around and grabbed a cookie from the bedside table.

"I wish I could sleep. Haah."

He chewed on the cookie as he sighed. He felt exhausted when he thought about going to the mansion. The kids from the sewer and Arthur's sister were all there. He still hadn't met any of them yet.

He didn't want to think about it. It felt like he'd get tangled up in something bothersome. He looked up only to find Ash totally emerged in his book. The boy has been reading all the time ever since he took him to the library. Ian felt his exhaustion double as he looked at him.

After spending half an hour successfully mopping in his bed, he finally got up. It was afternoon. He said he'd go to the mansion so he couldn't delay it any longer. After informing his father, he took Ash and two of his knights, which excluded both Corner and Arthur, he left for the mansion. T
