Sophia regarded his brother for another moment. He still hasn't left comatose but the doctors have assured her that he would be fine.

Sophia couldn't wait to see her brother again. The fact that her brother has a photographic memory was something that excited her.

But she doesn't know if he still possesses that ability after so much. Her brother has suffered a lot and she just wants to see him alive and talking like he used to.

That was enough for her.

She released a sigh, as her phone rang. Happiness rushed into her as she thought it was Brad. A sigh escaped her when she realized it wasn't Brad but her mother.

She couldn't believe Brad didn't want to see her again before he left for New York, knowing fully well that she might not even show up until maybe a few days before graduation. Even though she knew that was going to cause issues, she wasn't bothered.

What if she resumed, only to be kidnapped by Ned? What would she do then? Would she even be able to graduate?
