"What about the boy, sir?" Brad turned back and his gaze traveled past Nick to the car where the boy was still seated on the car's seat, his wrists and legs bound.

"I don't know," Brad said dismissively, "Just take care of him. But make sure neither Ned nor one of his thugs gets a hold of him. We might still need him." He paused, though Ava was very good at the sort of thing the boy did, he still thought he might be useful in the future. Ava usually has her hands full. "Take very good care of him," he told Nick and proceeded up the short flight of stairs that led to the elevator.

Brad took a refreshing bath. He was in his walk-in closet rummaging his wardrobe for a relaxing wear when his ringing tone disrupted the peace of the room. With his towel still sitting snugly on his hips, he strode to the bed where he had thrown the phone before going for a bath.

He grabbed it and the corners of his lips twitched on seeing the caller's ID.
