Chapter 163

Ned's selected men were stationed at the Yee's Club. Ned had instructed them to always stay by the club and patrol there. Hopefully, Brad or Nick would show up to eat or meet with someone. Then they would be able to get in touch with him and give him the letter Ned had written and handed them.

It was the only way Ned could think of to reach his lender. The man who had come bearing his lender's message had refused to let him have either his number or his lender's number. If he had, at least, let Ned have either of their numbers then letting Brad know that they needed to meet wouldn't have been an issue.

Sophia clutched her phone between her ear and shoulder as she got ready to leave the house.

"Yes mum, I'm almost ready. I'll leave the house now," she said to her mum while grabbing her purse and rummaging for the key in it.

"When they are through, I'll call you, bye," she said and ended the call. Then she asked for a cab and made her way to the hospital.
