Chapter 86: Delayed

A soft knock sounded on Brad's door suddenly.

“Yes, who is that?”

“The package has arrived boss,” the voice explained.

Brad nodded, moved to the door, and opened the door. He took the package from one of his men.

It was finally the day he would be retrieving the antidote. And as he had promised, he was going alone.

He sent a message to Nikolai that he needed the same injection that he gave him for Douglas.

That will ensure that nothing goes wrong. Also, he has a gun with him. He doesn't know, its usefulness might arise.

Brad darted at the wall clock. It was a few minutes to seven. His phone rang suddenly. It was Ava.

He ignored it and hid the syringes on him.

The phone stopped and started ringing again as Brad walked out of the room.

As usual, Maria was waiting for him.

“Boss, do you want me to prepare anything for you?”

“No, you can go to bed,” he said on motion. He walked out of the house swiftly.

His phone rang again. He released an exasperated sigh and got inside the car.
