Chapter 89: The biggest gifter

The loud ringing tone woke Brad up the next day.

He darted at the wall clock only to realize it was noon.

When he got home last night, he still had some bottles and that was in fact the first time he would be getting drunk.

The phone stopped ringing and Brad was quick to forget it ever rang. He got out of bed and looked at himself in the mirror.

Except for the rough hair and the dark bags under his eyes, he still looked good. Not that it was a problem anyway.

The phone rang again and Brad reached out for it. It was Ava.

Ava cleared her throat meaningfully. “Good morning boss. Are you alright?”

“Yes, I am,” he muttered.
