“I'm someone that knows nothing about medicine.“ Eddie's sarcastic reply was vivid as he rose swiftly from the bed with a flinch in his eyebrow.

“Father.“ Sophia and Latoya rushed over to their father with tears in their eyes.

“I thought I was dead already.“

“I thought so too.“ Latoya replied feeling embarrassed after what she had done to Eddie that she could not work up to him and appreciate him.

“Thanks a lot.“ Sophia appreciated with so much fear and reverse in her voice but he only shook his head.

“Don't appreciate me yet. I only stopped the poison from spreading. Soon enough it's going to start again and this time with a greater Force. It has to be gotten out from him as soon as possible.“ He responded, his voice lacking every single bit of emotion in them.

“What can we do?“ There was desperation in Sophia's voice.

Without spitting out even a single word from his mouth, Eddie spotted a piece of paper at the far end of the table and went swiftly towards it.

For a moment, he seemed to be the king of the place as everyone around watched his movements slowly.

Taking up a paper and the pen, he wrote down a few things and handed them over to Sophia.

"I need them as soon as possible.“ He noted.

“Okay. I will get them right away.“ Latoya replied and dashed off from the room.

She made her way swiftly out of the room and returned a few moments later with the things that he had requested, a stream of sweat already dripping down from the corner of her eyes.

“Here they are.“ Latoya, handing them over to him.

Eddie on the other hand took the herbs in her hands, mixed them, and fed them to the billionaire.

Immediately, a dark worm sped off from his nostrils with a terrible scent causing everyone to their nostrils.

“What the heck is that?“ One of the subordinates could no longer keep his calm in the place

“The black head worm. Thought to have gone extinct a long time ago. Whoever fed him with it must be dangerous.“

The place was cleaned off and Eddie's eyes sped off toward his wristwatch.

It was already getting late and he had to leave as soon as possible for his father.

“I'm afraid I have to go now.“ He noted swiftly

“What can we reward with money? Just name your price and it will be done instantly.“ Latoya was trying as hard as she could to reclaim her ego.

“I don't need your money. Just try to work on your manners.“ He responded effortlessly to the surprise of everyone in the hall and stormed out of the place.

It turned out that his father was not even in the city just as he had suspected but he didn't have any money for his transport and he didn't want to ask either.

“What am I going to do now?“ He thought in his head confused.

Just then, he heard swift footsteps behind him almost immediately making him turn around to see who it was.

It was Doctor Williams, making his way swiftly towards him that when he got to him, he was panting hard for breath.

“Is there a problem?“ Eddie could not help it but Inquire, remembering what he had done in the hospital earlier.

“I'm sorry for what happened there. I was only trying to save my career.“

“It's nothing and I understand.“ He replied swiftly.

“And I also want to thank you for saving my face today.“ He replied.

“I want to invite you for dinner tomorrow as a sign of my appreciation.“ He said

At first, he wanted to decline but after thinking about it for a while, there was no reason for him not to accept the offer so he finally did.

“Is there anything else that I can help you with? Are you heading somewhere? I can take you there.“

“Don't worry about yourself. I was going off town to Nether City.“ Eddie explained but Doctor Williams Would not allow him to finish a word of what he was saying before tripping in.

Walking away swiftly from the point that he was standing, he returned a few moments later with a young man with him.

“This will be your driver and you will be using my Porsche.” Doctor Williams added.

“Thanks.” Eddie appreciated making him smile.

“No. You shouldn't say that. I should be the one appreciating you.” He responded.

Before Eddie could split out even a single word from his mouth, he had already gotten the driver and Eddie appreciated him

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga was in the room with Clara awaiting their latest son-in-law, Gerow.

A man in his mid thirties with his athletic body structure, a Classic taste and money to add to his height.

“Finally we can be together.” He kissed Clara on her head with a smile hovering on his face.

They exchanged pleasantries but he could not help it but noticed the expensive vase on the table.

“Where did you get these?” He inquired with a weird look.

“Oh those. Eddie brought them during the wedding. But we are taking that trash out pretty soon.” Lady Gaga added.

Gerow walked gradually towards the vase and his eyes brightened. “These are quite worth a fortune.” He revealed to the surprise of everyone in the room

For a moment, confusion flooded Lady Gaga's face as she could not tell what was going on. All their lives, they had thought that Eddie was poor and could never afford anything.

“But how is that even possible?“ Darius inquired further with his face flooded with so much confusion.

“There is only one explanation. He must have stolen them because there is no way that he must have acquired these with his money.“ Gerow revealed.

“You are so smart.” Lady Gaga nodded her head.

She nodded her head at the explanation almost immediately but then random thoughts ran through her mind.

“If he left all of these behind, why would he keep that silly necklace ?“ She inquired like whispers from a far distance.

“I think that it must be a valuation. Ws must get it back from him.“ Juliet noted almost.

“Then we have to get it from him no matter what. He can't leave this place with anything that rightfully belongs to us.” There was a dark frown on Lady Gaga's face.

“In the Meantime, I have some good news to share.” Gerow was able to bring all the attention back to himself.

“So I was able to contact the Rising Age group through my father and Clara's company got shortlisted from the forthcoming project.” He revealed.

With a sudden limp, she rose up from the sofa, making her way towards him and hugging him tightly.

“I can't believe this.” Her loud voice was enough to crumble the room

“I love you.” Clara kissed Gerow on his lips.

“And not just that. I was able to get tickets for their coming party so we can't create the perfect impression about your company.”

“Now that's what we call a real man and not that dumb yard.” Lady Gaga chuckled with a hint of joy and everyone joined her in her laughter.

Meanwhile, Eddie got to the city late in the evening and made his way to the hospital

He made his way to the VIP section and with every single step that he took, he could feel his heart beating hard against his chest as though it was going to burst through.

His hands crawled through the door and parted it open.

But there his father was sitting on a couch and chatting loudly with his friend and he froze right on the spot.

“Excuse me.“ The Words Eddie's father's voice snapped him off from from the state of his shocks.

“Eddie is so great to see you again.“ His father rose swiftly from his bed, walking towards him.

“Father?“ He was still finding it difficult to recover from his shock.

“You are not sick?“ He inquired further with a flinch in his eyebrows.
