Chapter 11:- Arena Battle

After the excitement dies down, the demon king approaches me. "Come along," he says. "It's time for the main event."

The main concourse of the arena is a large open space surrounded by three rings. In the center ring, the demon king waits with his entourage for the arrival of the final contestant.

On either side of the central ring are smaller rings, each containing five fighters. The ring on the left contains four humans (the contestants) and one giant man-eating monster who looks to be a mixture of human and ogre.

The demon king points to the ring on the right. "Now we have a real challenge," he says. "Two vampires fighting a giant man-eating ogre. Will our champion win this time? Or will the monster feast upon the vampire's blood?"

The ring on the right contains six vampires (participants) and one witch whose skin is green. As I watch, the contestants begin to circle each other, sizing each other up.

He points to the ring on the left, and the contestants rush to it. They form a circle around each other and stare each other down.

"I'll bet you don't expect to see a vampire fight an ogre in the first round, do you?" asks the demon king. "Well, this is just the beginning of a wild ride. Let's go to the ring."

The contestants line up in the ring as the crowd watches, anxious to see how the fight will turn out. The ogre, who appears to be in much better shape than his opponent, stares at the vampire with cold disdain. The vampire, meanwhile, sniffs suspiciously and sneers menacingly.

The ogre is larger than his opponent by more than twice his size. The giant man-eating ogre stands facing the vampire, who looks incredibly nervous. The ogre has obviously been through many battles before; his face is scarred and battered, and there are several deep gouges in his torso.

His skin is a pale greenish-brown, and his teeth are stained with red. His hair hangs down to his shoulders, covering the lower portion of his face completely.

The ogre's body is covered in thick brown fur, giving him the appearance of a hairy gorilla. His face is covered with a heavy beard, which droops down to his waist, obscuring most of his features. He wears a loincloth made of animal hide, and carries a club over his shoulder.

He seems to be carrying some kind of shield as well, but it's too far away to see clearly. The ogre's eyes are closed, and he's breathing heavily as he prepares himself for the upcoming fight. The vampire's skin is white, and his long black hair frames his narrow face perfectly. There are several thin scars on his chin, and his yellow eyes stand out sharply against his blue skin.

The vampire, however, is taller and stronger than the ogre as well, giving him an advantage in terms of reach. He spreads his arms wide and addresses the ogre coldly.

"You're not nearly as imposing and strong as you think you are," says the vampire. "All you've got is brute force."

The ogre laughed at this, waving his club menacingly. "Brute force? Ha! You don't know how to use brute force! All you do is run around punching people and screaming like a baby. But you won't be doing that anymore!"

Without saying a word or making any movements, the ogre charges forward, bringing his club down hard upon the vampire's head. The vampire's body jerks backwards, and his legs kick wildly. The ogre keeps swinging his club, slamming it into the vampire's head over and over again. Each strike causes the vampire to convulse, and he begins sinking slowly into the ground.

With a roar of rage, the ogre rushes forward, swinging his club like a battering ram. The vampire dodges under the club, leaps behind him, and slashes his throat with his own dagger.

A few minutes later, the vampire manages to pin the ogre to the ground and stabs him repeatedly in the side. The ogre is writhing in agony, but he refuses to die.

He struggles to pull the vampire's dagger from his leg, but the vampire keeps stabbing him, draining his lifeblood. Finally, the ogre succumbs to the vampire's brutal attack, and the vampire throws his head at the ogre, allowing the crowd to cheer in triumph.

The vampire attacks the ogre, biting him on the arm. The ogre retaliates by smashing the vampire across the face with his club. The witch casts her hexes against the vampire, causing him to shriek in pain. The ogre suddenly grabs the vampire and slashes his throat, then stabs the witch in the chest with his dagger. The crowd gasps in shock at this sudden turn of events.

The ogre spins around and tries to stomp the vampire to death, but the vampire quickly rolls away to safety. He grabs hold of the ogre's ankle again, and the two roll around the ring together, trading blows and counterattacks.

He raises his staff and launches a fireball at the ogre, but the ogre ducks beneath the attack and grabs the vampire's ankle, dragging him down to the ground. The ogre rams his club into the vampire's gut, then twists his hand so that the vampire's neck is exposed.

With a quick snap, he snaps the vampire's neck and pins him to the ground. The crowd erupts in cheers, while the vampire's body twitches violently.

The vampire, the last remaining contestant, runs away from the arena as quickly as possible. As he leaves, the demon king beckons to me.

"What a magnificent fight," says the demon king. "I've never seen a man-eating ogre beaten so badly before."

"You see, you silly monsters?" says the demon king with glee. "An ogre can kill a vampire just as easily as a human. the battle ends with a single blow."

The demon king claps his hands together in delight. "How wonderful! We have a new champion! Congratulations, Orge!"

"Come," he says. "The winner of this match will go on to fight me next. I'm eager to see what happens when our champions meet face to face."

Grognard's opponent is a giant ogre.

I approach the ogre, and the demon king motions for me to take his place in the middle of the ring.

"This should be interesting," he says. "I've never seen an ogre fight before."

Without warning, the ogre rushes at me, swinging his club wildly. As soon as his fist connects with my chest, I feel something give way inside me, and all strength drains from my limbs. My knees buckle, and I fall to the ground.

As I lie there helpless, the ogre continues his assault, pounding me with his club. I try desperately to protect myself, but he keeps hitting me, breaking ribs and tearing muscles in my body.

I gasp for breath, trying to crawl away from the ogre, but I'm unable to get any further. Blood pools around me, slowly soaking into the ground. I promised not to use magic in battle, but now it seems I have to use it.

As the ogre continues beating me senseless, Grognard steps forward and delivers a series of powerful punches to the monster's stomach. The ogre doubles over in pain, clutching his abdomen, and gasping for air.

Grognard punches him repeatedly, brutally crushing the ogre's organs. The ogre slumps over, dying instantly, and Grognard crushes his skull with his bare hands.

"Wow," exclaimed the demon king, impressed. "I didn't know an ogre could be killed so easily."

The crowd erupts in cheers and applause as the ogre collapses to the ground.

"What a fantastic fight!" shouts the demon king. "Thank you, Grognard, for being such a gracious sport and participating in my tournament. Now, let's see what we have in store for us next!"

The crowd applauds, and the demon king waves for Grognard to come forward.

The crowd erupts in cheers and applause.

"And now," says the demon king, "let's see what awaits us in the grand finale."

"Come along," he says. "The grand finale of my tournament is about to begin."

The audience roars with delight as the demon king steps forward.

"Welcome," he says, "to the greatest show on Earth!"
