Chapter 24: Perfect Plan.

Half an hour later, everyone was gathered in the living room.

Memphis looked at everyone seriously and slowly said,

"We are far from safe. This urban area has at least 5,000 residents. Even if only half of them have turned into zombies, it’s enough to annihilate the rest. Forty minutes ago, Jarred and I cleared the zombies within a 50-meter radius, but now more zombies have gathered outside, including high-level ones."

Everyone in the room fell silent. They knew Memphis’s scenario was the best-case one. In reality, it was likely that seven, maybe even eight or nine out of ten residents had become zombies.

If they were overly optimistic without a proper response plan, there would come a day when they’d open their eyes to see zombies and breathe in the stench of corpses.

Not to mention, the availability of essential supplies was uncertain. If they didn't get eaten, they might starve to death.
