It felt like months since I was last in the air, but if my calendar is right, then it was hardly more than a couple of weeks. It would be my first time flying, but we weren't being sent out to engage with the New Siberian forces. That would come later, Agent Caron informed me. I asked the general if I could fly and he obliged me.

I didn't want to go out with anyone else, much less my team. Not right now. I wanted to be alone to enjoy the open sky and try to relax. Bian and Alphonse had been called away, so I wouldn't have to deal with them. Rolo was out doing patrols in the captured territory. Many of the locals even looked at us as liberators, so it wasn't a hard job from what I hear. Sasha was using some of her leave time, so she wasn't even on base.
