"You couldn't have found... Someplace bigger?" my mother asked. The room was bigger than some of the apartment suites in the city, but of course, she wanted something bigger. I shouldn't be surprised, she was an empress.

"I'm sorry, mother, this is the biggest guest room we have," I told her. One of my Imperial Guards shook his head and while I agreed with him, this wasn't the place to shake his head. So I glared at him and when he caught sight of my look, he looked away.

My mother sighed. "Yes, well... I suppose I must make do."

"Empress Louis, the room you were given at Victoria's estate was smaller than this," Adolph Hitler spoke quietly. "Perhaps-"

"Victoria's so-called estate used to belong to the Roslachnian communist scum," my mother cut him off. She didn't even bother looking at him. "She had to make do with what she had. This is different."
