Chapter 008 - A Close Encounter

“Find the information of this person for me.”

Inside the living room of a high-end apartment, Mason, who was reeking of killing intent at this moment, with his eyes completely red from fury abruptly passed his cell phone to someone who was standing respectfully before on.

The person has dark and spooky eyes, and in the depth of these eyes, a type of unusual hunger seemed to be present.

By merely standing there, a cold-blooded aura was radiating from his body.

Without saying a single word, the person, Jackal accepted the cell phone and took a look at the screen.

On it was a picture of Ares, who was wearing only pants, his torso bare.

It was a picture taken earlier that day without his awareness.

“Okay, young master.”

Without asking any questions, the eerie-looking guy nodded his head and then passed Mason’s cell phone back to him, but then his eyes flashed with anticipation as he opened his mouth.

“What should I do after I find the person?”

“What should you do?” Mason’s eyes immediately ignited with a destructive intent upon hearing the question.

His eyes instantly bored into his trusted aide, who had always helped him do all his dirty jobs after a moment.

“Whether almost dead or completely alive, bring him to me. Just make sure he is not completely dead, understood?”

“Understood, young master.”

The eerie guy, who seemed to be a demon from the depth of hell nodded his head.

No longer saying a word, he turned around and then matched away, leaving only Mason behind.

Mason continued brooding until suddenly, he banged his fist hard on the hard-tempered glass table that could withstand bullets before him, instantly shattering it into pieces.

Without getting injured at all, Mason jumped to his feet.

“That bitch!!! How dare she! How dare she cheat on me like this! I swear by my life that you will regret it as well. Just let me be done with that motherfucking bastard first!” He growled with killing intent.

“Guys, is this the way to your class?” Ares couldn’t help but suddenly look at his brothers, who wouldn’t stop following him since they managed to escape the dorm.

The two boys only looked at him and smiled.

“Of course, not,” they responded matter-of-factly, further confusing Ares.

“Why then are you two following me?” He pressed.

“There is this new beauty around your class who the second brother has been eyeing in recent days and had taken a keen interest in. I’ve taken it upon myself to help speak on his behalf today.”

“You…” the second brother immediately shot a dumbstruck and reproachful glare at the first brother upon hearing the excuse he had used.

He wanted to retort, but knowing that they couldn’t let Ares know that they were only following him so that he would not do something untoward to himself, he decided to eat the insult.

He immediately couldn’t help but smile with embarrassment, seeing the weird look Ares was giving you.

“I never knew the second brother could not speak to ladies himself due to how he had always made mouths about how he can speak to any ladies that ever caught his interest in the past.”

“I…” the second brother couldn’t help but glare fiercely at the first brother, but the first brother only beamed happily at him.

This was what the three were discussing as they walked when suddenly, the beastly roar of an engine startled them badly to their senses.

“This…”

Their hearts skipped wildly and they quickly turned their heads. The following second, however, their hearts almost leaped out of their chests from profound fear.

“Second brother, watch out!”

Both Ares and the first brother instinctively cried out, pulling the arms of the second brother, whose face had turned pale and they jumped back.

Just at that moment, a car that was speeding as though it was carrying a patient in a life-and-death condition zoomed past.

“That…”

The three brothers were scared to death and couldn’t return to their senses for a second, but then suddenly, the eyes of the first brother became filled to the brim with rage.

“Who was that bastard!!! Was he trying to kill someone!!”

He roared, his heart still pounding from fear about what would have been the fate of the second brother if he and Ares had not hurriedly dragged him out of the way.

“How could someone be allowed to drive with such an insane speed within the school premises?”

Ares was furious as well.

Together with the first brother, they began to calm the second brother, who wouldn’t return to his senses.

‘That… that…’

The second brother was really scared beyond words right now.

The close encounter he just had with death made him recall one of the scariest memories he had stowed away all this year, the image of the day such a speeding car had hit his sister right before his eyes.

Looking at him with concern, although neither Ares nor the first brother knew the reason behind his exaggerated behavior, they perfectly understood well that things had gone beyond the accident that had just almost occurred.

“That bastard driver, he must hear it from me today!”

The first brother gritted his teeth after he and Ares had finally managed to slightly calm the second brother down, then without waiting for anybody, he stormed ahead.

“This…”

The second brother hurriedly looked at the storming away back which seemed to make the first brother resemble someone who was going to war.

“Let’s follow him before he causes trouble we would never be able to handle. That car is very expensive, so, the owner must not be any ordinary person!”

The second brother quickly said, nervously looking at the back, then together with Ares, they rushed after the first brother who wouldn’t slow down at all.

They continued rushing after him for a while before they eventually caught up with him since he was now standing fixated and glaring in a particular direction.

“So, that bastard was merely coming here? How dare he drive in the way he had done?”

The first brother gritted his teeth and growled.

Both Ares and the second brother also looked, and then the second brother sighed.

He was on the verge of stopping the first brother and telling him not to bother when the first brother once again resumed storming, approaching the place where a crowd of people who acted as though they had never seen beautiful and expensive cars in their lives were now gathered.

Gazing at the sleek and expensive-looking sports car before them, everybody, who had rushed over from various directions was shocked to the core at this moment.

They had no idea about who would own such a pricey vehicle.

They were all gasping right now while wildly guessing the price of the car when its two-butterfly doors opened and then a couple stepped out.

The following second, everybody became transfixed and their mouths and eyes opened wide, gaping at the lady, who had gotten off from the passenger’s side of the car.

Although she wasn’t that beautiful, she was the present hit sensation of Bee University, and right now, no one knew her, not after she had made her debut the previous day and had become the mentor of many ladies.

She was Sarah, Ares’s ex-girlfriend, and getting out of the driver’s side beside her was Michael, her fiancee.
