Chapter 7.

Henry sighed as he walked out of the mall. It had been quite a while since he had entered. Since there was nothing else to do, he could as well go check the company out. It was finally time to start.

Thinking like this, Henry walked down the road, flagged down a taxi, and hopped in.

---

An hour later, the taxi pulled up in front of Nexus Architects. Even though Mia didn't say what company was given to him, Judging from what she said, he could tell that she was here at the company.

"Where do you think you are going?" A hoarse voice came just as Henry was about to enter the company.

Henry frowned as he looked at the guards who had just stopped him. He could remember that they were the same ones who had thrown him out of the hall today.

"Do you want us to break your legs?" One of the guards sneered as he looked at Henry with hostility.

"Didn't you hear what the boss said earlier, that you shouldn't come near the company?" Another of the guards frowned as he looked at Henry.

Henry frowned as he looked at the two guards, he hadn't expected them to stop him from entering which felt rather ridiculous to him.

According to Mia, the whole company was now his and he had the right to do anything he wanted to do with it.

He just couldn't understand why the two imbeciles would try to on the orders of one who had been expelled from the company.

"Well then, I'd suggest you let me in." Henry frowned as he looked at the men.

"Well, it seems like we'll have to break your legs since you don't want to listen." One of the guards sneered as he moved closer to Henry.

"I bet you wouldn't know how you died if even a strand of hair was missing on his body." A cold voice came just as the guard was about to get to Henry.

"Here you are, Mia." Henry smiled as he looked at Mia, who was approaching him quickly.

"Well then young master, I didn't expect you to come so quickly." Mia smiled as she looked at Henry.

If not for the fact that she had luckily seen Henry when he was coming down from the taxi, she didn't know what would have happened if she hadn't come out. Well then if anything should have happened to the young master, she was sure to take the blame and the punishment wouldn't be a light one.

"Well, I got pretty bored quickly, so I decided to come over." Henry shrugged as he looked at Mia.

"That's great then, you've picked a really good time as I'll be having a meeting with the executives of the company." Mia smiled as she led Henry inside the company.

"Would you be willing to come?" Mia continued with a smile on her face.

"Sure." Henry nodded as he looked around. At first, he wanted to refuse, but then thinking about it, he changed his mind.

He was going to have to familiarize himself with the executives if he wanted to build a perfect business empire.

Besides, the company was about something he was very good at so, there was no need for him to back down, it wasn't as if he wouldn't be able to understand the discussion.

"Young Master, here we are." Mia's voice brought Henry out of his thoughts.

"Let's go in." Henry smiled as he pushed open the door and walked into the conference hall with Mia.

"And who do we have here?" A mocking voice sounded just as the two walked into the hall.

"A beggar I'd guess." Another voice sounded.

"Well then, I'd guess you'll all be asking for his forgiveness if you know of his identity." Mia sneered as she looked at the bunch of old men ridiculing Henry.

"Oh wow, if he's not another spoiled brat of the Humphrey family, then who the hell is he?" One of the old men sneered as he looked at Henry.

Henry smiled as he raised his head to look at the old man. Well then, he wanted to know what was going on in the company before he was going to say anything.

"Mia, it's alright, I think you should begin the meeting quickly so you'll be able to save time." Henry smiled as he looked at Mia who looked like she was about to explode.

"Huh?" All the executives froze upon hearing Henry's statement, at first, they had thought that Henry was going to say something rather degrading, but then the latter had asked Mia not to defend him.

Besides, his voice was calm which made them feel a sense of fear toward Henry who was sitting right beside Mia.

Mia on the other hand was quite shocked when she heard Henry, but being the young master, she didn't think too much about it and just sat down.

Since the young master wasn't interested in her defending him, she wasn't going to do it either.

In no time, the meeting started as Henry listened rather intently. The meeting revolved around how they were going to make the company better as it had been in a stagnant stage for about a while.

Many of the old men suggested they hire skillful architects and they were sure to be able to make a great leap.

"Young Master, what's your thoughts on the matter?" Mia smiled as she turned around to face Henry who had been listening.

"Well, I don't think he'll be any better, even if we were not able to come up with a solution. What makes you think that a brat would be able to do that?" One of the executives sneered as he looked at Henry.

"Are you sure about that?" Henry smiled as he looked at the man.

"Well I'm very confident, there's nothing that a spoiled brat like you would know." The executives sneered while the others nodded.

"Well, then do you dare to make a bet?" Henry smirked as he looked at the man.

"Hmph! Why won't I dare to make a bet with a brat like you."

"Okay then since that's it, you'll kneel and bow to me thrice if I can provide a solution." Henry smiled.

"Well then, what if you can't?" The man sneered.

"You're free to do as you wish." Henry smiled as he stood up slowly.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" The executives frowned.

"Just watch." Henry smiled as he picked up the remote used to control the large screen that they were using to do analysis.
