She breathed out as she made it to just a few steps away from the master of the house. She looked up, her pupils dilating out in fear. She wanted to cringe under the gaze of the master of the house like the others were currently doing but then again, if she did that, how could she carry out that which she wanted.
If she was going to be able to stand up against anything, the only way she had to do that was to do it with her eyes locked on the evil that she was confronting.
With this in her mind, she stood still, taking in rapid breaths to deal with the shaking and the intense trembling of her body just then. And in that, he was able to find the strength to go on about that which she wanted to do.
She had a number of things to say. Normally, the Mukara House Master would want to engage her in a serie
“N-nobody…” The master looked down now to Ralia who was trying to get back up. “Nobody set me up to this. I wanted to do this myself because I am tired of you all swine.” She cursed out.“Aaahk!” She groaned just as a kick from the Master sent her sprawling on the ground.“Well, if you are really innocent then, you have until dusk to kill her. All of you, by your own hands, kill her and prove to me that you never set her to this!” The Master said and then scoffed before turning around and making for the trees. He paused and then inhaled. After that, he put his hand to the tobacco pipe and took a long inhale on it. Once he was done, he let out the puff of smoke, enjoying the whiff of the smoke as it circled into the surrounding area.
CLANG! CLANG!! Metallic sounds erupted through their thoughts process, scraping and bouncing off the rocky ground that they all stood on.It was a knife.Ronke gasped just then, seeing as the silver blade of the Knife clanged down to the ground, dropped down by the Mukara who had been flogging earlier. She did not need to be told what would happen the next second now that the knife had been dropped. If it did not happen immediately, Ralia knew that it would happen eventually. But she had not expected still that this was how it was all going to come to. She had not expected this and for the first time since she had the urges to go out to speak to the Mukara House Master, she was ashamed of herself. Ashamed that she had failed and now, she was going to die. Ralia swallowed now, What this lady was hoping for, was something that was like a hot bath on a cold day But she did not have that within her reach. She was not that powerful, she could not guarantee that their lives would be theirs even if they followed her to rebel. And as she thought about this, the woman kept on looking, watching the minute changes in her face as she pondered over the words. And when she had determined that she had had enough of the indecision of Ralia, she heaved out sadly. “ I knew it. There is no guarantee of anything if we chose to follow. We should just kill you already. At least, we would be assured of one thing, food.” She said and then raised the knife, holding it in both hands now.“Nooo…. Wait…” Ralia cried out desperately, cursing the fact that she could not move to hit the road, away from theAscenders: Rising From Zero Rebellion IX
I am not an evil man, you see. I am simply the man who knows how to get things done, so maybe it is time you all stopped hating me for my guts. There can never be change without the one to effect it. And never can light be, without the darkness that follows. The brightest lights have the darkest shadows and for this, they must be purged. I am simply an agent of that purge. I am the embodiment of the guts you failed to act on. And to be honest, you and I, we are not so much as far from each other as you think. For while you cower under the oppression of those who are over you, I am simply stepping up to take the bull by the horn. And then, once that is done, I can offset the cancerous overlords that needed to be done.I would not sit still, hoping for good days to come when I can be that very agent. I wou
The voice sounded like it was laughing, although it was such a dry crackle.‘A thousand apologies. Had just been overtaken by the fact that myself and you have such compatibility. You know, I have waited for such a long time to find a soul with which I could fuse with.’ Liria said.'I am Liria, one of the 21 soul remnants of His Worship that was sent down as a contingency plan after His Worship, Trixius the Great was unjustly defeated and imprisoned by his enemies. Liria the 13th. My mission is to ascend the 7 heavens, become powerful enough to bring back His Worship, as do all the siblings.'‘Wait, wait, hold on just one bit.’ Ralia said, the information overload was way too much for her.‘Just who the he
FWOOP! A Bright flash of white suddenly exploded, stunning Ralia. It hurt so badly that Ralia felt she had eyes that had gotten blinded already.‘Painful….’ She cried out, feeling the sting of the light like lashes across her entire body even though she did not really have now as at now. She was just a floating consciousness. But just as soon as the pain came, it subsided alsot immediately, the white light that was all about dying out its brilliance. And in it, she could feel several things taking shape within it, almost as if objects and items were being built into life in reaction to her presence. .Startled, she gasped. In the distance just before him, was a huge but yet slender figure. The figure had a cape overall flapping behind him and was backing her. Strangely, she felt some r
Ralia sighed just as the entire scene rolled out like someone was rolling the sheets of a scroll to close them up, entirely. She did not know that she had lost herself into the scene as she saw how the man, Trixius The Great took on the forms of the giant beings and the others who came alongside with them.He was just one person, one person against the world, the ideal form of the rebellion that he had come to believe in.And in all of that, she had been so engrossed that she had failed to hear the words of Liria as she told her that the Ascender Induction would be ending soon enough.Stil bodiless, she grumbled just then to herself about the way the whole scene had been cut short. She did know that Trixus the Great had fallen, otherwise, she would not even have been here in the first place b
There was not a moment of hesitation between the words that Ralia spoke and the reply that proceeded from Liria.‘That is good. It was just about the second part of the Induction for the Ascenders. You are going to learn the actual numbering of the siblings and armed with this knowledge, we hope we can make the best of that which we do.’Liriia said.Ralia nodded her non-existent head. It was pleasing to know that her next course of actions were just about the same thing that Liria had in stock there. Did that mean that she was rapidly getting better at this whole thing?Well, she sighed to herself menatlly, even that had to be a good thing. How could that be anyway wrong? She reasoned to herself.Latest Chapter
