A Gateless Portal System is one key attribute of the town of Tuxela. Being one of the unaffiliated lands, which had been generally referred to as a Freezone due to ,the fact that no World Power not organization could lay claim to governance of such lands, it was teeming with life from various species.
It is situated just around the lower axis of the Adze Unity, mostly connected with the retirement town of Laprisha and then by the town of Ilesa. It is a prize location not only because of the it's availability as a Freezone but also because of the fact that it has a standing transport system, which is the GPS transport.
The GPS is a system built to mimic the workings of a World Bridge. While world bridges are naturally occurring, this is more of a built system to enable easy transport of people across long distances, within the same World. That is, one could only use a GPS to port across the entirety of the second heaven or the heaven which it was situated in, but un
Bayo had been kidnapped. "Wow! I always knew Tuxela was rough. But this rough?" Shin shook his head. "What a welcome!" The Ascender SHin and his colleagues, Hana and Ronke stared into the distance, shocked at what had just occurred. In one flash, the caravan had come from nowhere. And in that same time, the caravan had napped Bayo out and was speeding away. In their minds, they sighed, mentally, their fatigue taking the better of them. But then, they could not just let Bayo get taken away like that. Surely not after the encounter that they had just had, They had to do something. And that too, as fast as possible. Dust swirled into the air, raising up sand particles to cloud their vision for the briefness of a second. They were in Tuxela now but then
The clip clop sound of the horses leading the caravan was unsettling. For someone who had just come out of an all black atmosphere, it was taking all of him not to shut his eyes forever to the abrupt change in the nature of the atmosphere of Tuxela. Then, the repeated sounds of the galloping horses made it even difficult for him to make sense of where he was. Last he had known was that he had been supporting the weight of Ronke and then a sharp pain had rocked his free shoulder, shifting his balance. The next second had not been pleasant. He was simply swept off his feet, his whole shoulders rocking the ground, mercilessly as he went airborne. And then, he crashed down onto something which was hard and metallic. All of it, happening in the blink of an eye. In that same time, it was taking him to get accustomed to the nature of the atmospheric cond
Bayo walked out, sliding the curtain out only to smile out as Shino, Ronke and Hana bursted out from the sides of the chariot, their faces furious and mad. Ronke from the top, Shin from the left and Hana from the right. “Oh, hi guys…” Bayo smiled. ‘Come in, you all. We have just the catch.” The three of the pursuers immediately skidded to a halt, raising dust in their wake except for Ronke who slammed down before the Chariot and then simultaneously raised a wall of earth to stop the galloping of the horses as the wall appeared just right in front of the beasts. Neighs rented the air and Ronke exhaled, looking around her. The Freezone of Tuxela was lax in its security measures and so, she would not be expecting any of the guards to pop out now that they had caused quite the ruckus. In fact, even th
Tuxela was Huge. That was the only expression Bayo could think of in the attempt to quantify the vastness of the Free Zone. If it was not a market scene then he would have assumed it was some ground for some super private government research facility. Something that would contain lots of things but yet excluded from the general public, only for those with private access. However, Tuxela was not like that. It was amazing that he would see something like this. Compared to the retirement town of Laprisha, Tuxela was way bigger. Massive structures jutted out from here and there, some of them being on par with the size and bulk of the Laprisha Arena Market he had been to. The noise… it was never ending, a constant buzz of intertwined voices, chants, ringing, banging and occasionally screams. The roads that Bayo saw, not the road himself and the others which were on the outskirts of the Freezone but rather the ones that led into it
The supple economy of the Free Zone of Tuxela is one that would not flourish, if enforced under any laid down rules and procedures. It is normally conceived that without adequate law and order, a town or city would fall but in the case of Tuxela, such has been proven to be the reverse, more often than not. It is not negotiable, one does not have to be all law abiding before one can indeed make progress in whatsoever one has to do. However, even with this in place, we can not efficiently rule out the fact that there is no rule of law in the Free Zone of Tuxela. Which is somewhat contradictory because while the very existence of Tuxela is a slap to the rule of flaw, it even still needs laws to stand still in its very sense. To the layman, this may yet be very confusing but to those who have really
The beastkin is a race of unique humanoid creatures who ebar a certain likeness to creatures and beast that abound in the Heavens. Even down to the one which have only been seen in the pet planet of Eledumare, the All Creator, Earth. Beast Kins are currently governed by the Lord Bello who happens to be a Bull headed, intolerant leader of the beastkins. He rules the twin realms of the beast kins with an iron hand, seconded in duty by his ever faithful Shadow Beastkin Cat, Lady Grant. The origin of the beastkins can be traced as far back as possible and yet, one may not be able to come up with a conclusive documentation of how they came to be. That is, how they came to exist in the first palace. They are typically beasts. That is non- negotiable but then again, they are beasts which have come to sentien
His mind went blank. She said she knew him but how was he sure he had never come across her before. And it was not exactly like he was a popular person, was he? He shook his head. He was probably overthinking it. That was what had happened that he did not know when perhaps, Shin would have said his name to her. And maybe because of the business, she had forgotten his name or something like that. “Come along now. I don't presume you have all day to waste here, gawking at my behind.’ Vee joked. Bayo gasped out at the joke that she had made. His eyes blinked and then he shook his head. It was such a vague feeling but then, he felt it still. The feeling that often rocked the back of his head when another Ascender was just nearby. “Ah! I should really ge
“Ah… I did not meet them at Laprisha, we had come a long way from before Laprisha.” Bayo replied, against his will. The eyes of Vee glowered once more. She swallowed now, watching Bayo rather carefully. “I see… So you must have gotten them back at Drago, right, bayo?”“Uhhh….” Bayo tried to shake his head but he could not get to move himself. No matter how he willed himself, it was just as if he was frozen in one spot. It was very frustrating to him ebacsue with each passing second,he could literally feel his heart in his mouth.“W-what a-are y-you d-do-doing t-to me?” He stammered.Vee blinked now, a look of surprise on her face. She shook her head now and then let go of Bayo, h
