You see, the stories about creation are explicit in the true sense of it. 

When Eledumare created the Universe, he created the first beings that be. Understand first that Eleduamre is a cohesion between the two primary forces that existed before all of time. 

Olorun, Olofin and Olokun, each of them playing a pivotal role in how the gods did come to be. They set out in various spheres of curation, all of which constitute the reality that we live in. 

And once they were done, there was the general sensation that something was lacking. Some other present which was not them. Something other than them.

Now, at this junction, you may be thinking about how this may correlate with Obatala being the First Orisha. If this is you, then be rest assured that you are wrong. 

It really does correlate but not in the way that you think it.
