Sixty Eight

Aidan was about stepping into his car when his phone rang. He took it out and when he saw the caller ID, he slid his hands across the screen and answered the phone call. It was one of his friends from Everest university. Springfield university and Everest university were one of the popular universities in the area and the children of rich and proud men attended the school. Aidan was one of them. He had a circle of friends whom were in the same level with him financially. The loved to show off and spend money on trending things. They also had a group chat for only the ten of them from different schools.

“Hi Aidan. Have you heard the latest news?”

“What's that Dan? What news?”

“The new heir to Frederick conglomerate is Jake Frederick!” Dan disclosed.

“Humph!! You have to be kidding me. How can that low life be the CEO? That isn't true. It's a joke, right?”

“I'm not kidding. You know what, check the news blogs, check the group. The gist is everywhere!”

“I'll do that now.”
