Chapter 139: Didn't interfere

“I repeat, what are you trying to do?!” She increased the volume of her voice.

Nolan glanced at her silently, without responding to her. He could clearly see the irritation and anger brewing in their eyes.

It was as though if Nolan dared to say one unacceptable word, they would instantly bulge out his eyes, into stinky red.

Another of the students chimed in. “Nolan, will you answer her or do you want to incur the wrath of the entire class?”

Nolan glanced at the speaker, and once again kept silent. His attitude made everyone feel like he was ignoring them.

“You sure have some gut now, don't you? Otherwise, how on earth would someone of your caliber try to ignore us?”

Many mocking chuckles erupt among the students. The disgust and mocking gazes thrown on Nolan at once was uncountable.

Mr Shawn, who was standing, had his face furrowed, beyond recognition. He couldn't believe that right in front of him, he was being treated like air.

With his furrowed expression, he reprimanded. “That
