It was only the first guy that had spoken, the other's hadn't chimed their mouths into the insult yet, so they were rather feeling relieved.

The first supporter male that had spoken, attacked back. “Yes, we like her, but even if she doesn't like us back, we're still relieved and proud to say, you can't even be considered enough as a man to like her.”

Upon hearing the final comeback, laughter erupted from many of them. Despite grasping the meaning behind it, they found it impossible to stifle their amusement.

Sarcastic remarks filled the air. "How could you suggest that Betty wouldn't even spare a thought for our dear Nolan? That's cutting."
