(Jerry’s POV)

I stared at the squirming flesh of the gigantic brain that was as large as half the academy.

It no longer caused me pain, even though there was still a slight headache but at least it was bearable.

I pursed my lips and instinctively kept my breathing at a measured pace.

Since I was going to die, at least die with some dignity.

It’s messed up though… I really didn’t think it would end like this.
