“Let's see how this Talent drain truly works,” Draken mused as Matthew launched the black energy towards him. When the energy was a few meters away from Draken, Draken also began to charge forward towards the energy beam.
With the beam now only a few inches away from Draken, he leaned backwards until his back was almost touching the floor, dodging the beam completely. After dodging it completely, Draken resumed in his steps, closing in on Matthew, he punched his right fist forward.
Just when Draken thought his punch would make an impact, Matthew formed a small energy shield right in front of him, blocking Draken's punch. Blocking the punch, Matthew leaped a few meters backwards and released another black energy beam.
"For crying out loud!" Draken voiced, swereving his body sideways and weaving the beam with ease.
'How is he able to dodge my beams so easily? Is this the same trash of yesterday?!' Matthew mused in disbelief, sending out another beam that got deflected off by Draken.
Draken quickly closed the gap before Matthew could prepare another attack, connecting his fist to Matthew's jaw, and a loud cracking sound echoed throughout the cafeteria.
The force behind the punch lifted Matthew off the floor, Draken also charged up to the air and above Matthew, slamming him down to the floor with a hammer-like blow.
BAM!
Mathew's body slammed on the concrete floor, causing the whole cafeteria to vibrate due to the force behind the hit.
'I'm not done with you yet!' Draken said internally, moving closer to Matthew who just laid there motionless. Draken had no clue how the Talent drain works, or what he needed to do to absorb someone else's talent.
Maybe once he kills the person, the Talent gets transferred to him. That was Draken's thoughts as he moved closer to Matthew, but his way was blocked by an individual.
Shifting his gaze, all Draken could see was a good-looking man in his early twenties. Spiky snow white hair that shone brightly under the sun's rays, his straight jawline and handsome face could make any girl drool over him, his height nothing less than 6 '1, and he was dressed in an off black long sleeve attire and trousers.
Draken recognized him immediately. "Mr Kai."
Draken greeted, bowing down his head. Kai was one of the academy's sensei, and also one of the strongest.
Kai Suzuki's clan helped greatly during the monster's invasion, and since then the family has been treated with respect because of their powers.
"Hmm.." Kai humed, glancing around the mess Draken made with his finger on his chin. "Did you do this?" Asked Kai with a look of disbelief.
"Uhm..yeah?" Draken stuttered.
"Hmm..This is hilarious." Kai chuckled slightly before begining to walk away with his two hands in his pockets. "Come with me."
Draken stood there wondering who he was talking to, until he turned around and gave him a stare. Draken quickly jogged forward and caught up with Kai before they both stepped out of the cafeteria.
'What just happened?' Danny who has been on the floor watching the whole fight had a look of disbelief on his face. He has been with Draken for a while now and knew every bit about him. The person that just defeated those guys didn't look like Draken in any way.
His strength, his speed, the look on his face, they all looked different from the Draken he knew. “I hope he hasn't joined the Harbingers of Chaos.” Danny wondered with a worried expression.
Those who are weak and only able to awaken a uselss Talent would usually swear an oath to an underworld creature that would grant them what is known as Chaos Energy. No one knew who or what the Harbingers of Chaos were, they only got initiated through the Monarchs of Chaos, and once the initiation was completed, they were granted the Chaos Energy.
The Chaos Energy is just like a Talent, but much more darker and dangerous. The energy also has different techniques and ranks, just like Talents. But whoever uses such ability always has a poisoned dark mind and is being manipulated by the King Of Chaos.
Since Draken has always been weak and vulnerable, Danny thought that Draken must have sworn the oath and now received the Chaos energy. But who could blame him if such a thing happened?
Draken has faced hell day in and day out. Everyday he goes to bed with different sets of injuries and no one did anything to stop them.
Danny won't be surprised if Draken swore the oath, because he has suffered a whole lot in this life.

Walking through the academy's hallway was a tall handsome guy with his two hands in his trouser pocket, beside him was an average teenager who had a nervous expression on his face.
“This school is rotten. This world itself is rotten. Everyday I get bullied and no one does a thing about it, but when I choose to fight back, I get punished?” Draken pondered with his two fists clenched tightly. He has tried countless times to report the case of him being bullied to teachers, but no one paid attention because he was a sore loser. They would simply just ignore him.
Even when Matthew dealt with Danny and fractured his spinal cord, no one made any attempt to punish Matthew because his father was one of the big men in the country, while Danny was a nobody.
“Huh?” Draken intoned as the teacher seemed to have taken a different route that led to the rooftop instead of the Headmaster's office. A puzzled expression appeared on Draken's face as both of them began to climb the steps to the rooftop.
“Why are we headed here? Should I ask him?” Draken pondered, attempting to call on the teacher in front of him, but couldn't gather enough courage to do so.
After climbing for few minutes, they finally arrived on the rooftop. The rooftop was quite vast, with the floor littered with graffiti and waste nylons here and there. The cool wind made Kai's snow white hair and also Draken's hair flow.
Kai walked to the edge of the roof where he could actually see the whole academy and city from.
"You had a second reawakening didn't you?" Kai questioned while sparing Draken a glance, but Draken already knew fully well what he meant. And if people find out, then he might be in serious trouble.
Draken stood on the same spot in silence after hearing Kai's words. Draken had no idea of what happened to him that made him awaken a whole new Talent. All he remembered was he attempting suicide, then waking up the next day on his bed. Draken had concluded that his suicide attempt might have just been a dream and didn't actually happen since it wasn't possible for him to escape death like that unless he had a strong Talent. How then was he able to reawaken the ability? And the Talent wasn't the same as the rest of the Talents he had seen. There had never been a case where someone could view his talent stats like a video game and also increase their stats and unlock new abilities like a game. Or was there?"Look, I am not here to boss you around or threaten you in any way, no. I only want to know, and maybe help," Kai added since the teenage boy just remained in the same position mute."Help? You want to help me?!" Draken questioned in a high pitched tone."Well, yeah, if you actuall
Draken glanced at the reasonably large man in front of him with a puzzled expression.”' Did Mr Kai go ahead and inform the authorities about him getting a second reawakening?' That was Draken's thought while staring at the man who had looks of disdain etched on his face."Uhm..yeah, sure," Draken responded, stepping out of the room and shutting it."This way please." The man stated, leading the teenage boy away.Draken stood there on the spot for a few seconds before following him behind.***Few minutes of walking, the man finally stopped in front of an office Draken recognized very well. The Headmaster's office. The same office he went to several times and complained about bullying, but no one paid attention."He is waiting for you," The man said, ushering Draken in. Draken gave a nod before pushing the door open and stepping in.The office was well arranged with lots of modern designs here and there, and a total of four individuals inside already.Sitting comfortable on his chair w
SUPER HERODraken sat in the dimly lit basement with his back leaned on the wall and a homographic screen floating in front of him.“20 attribute points,” Draken mused with his finger rubbing his chin and his eyes glued to the screen. If he wanted to go hunting, then he needed to be stronger than he currently was. He has twenty extra points, and needed to distribute them wisely and not make one lacking. If he was to put all his points in his strength, and encounter a monster that is fast and agile, he would die within seconds. And if he should place the points in just speed and he should encounter a monster with massive strength, he would meet his doom.“Hmm..should i distribute it equally? But if I do, that won't be much of a boost. I need to be much more stronger than my current self,” Draken pondered in contemplation.STRENGTH: 20SPEED: 5AGILITY: 5BRAVERY:5REFLEX: 5[STRENGTH + 10] [STRENGTH 30][AGILITY + 4] [AGILITY 9][SPEED + 3] [SPEED 8][REFLEX + 3] [REFLEX 8]After sever
"Here we go." Draken intoned, walking into the hole and got transported beyond the wall instantly. Draken glanced around the foreign environment, it looked foreign to him since it was his first time there. The place looked like a ruined city, the smell erked of abandonement with lots of skyscrapers all around that were already destroyed and at the brink of collapsing. The floor was filled with debris and lots of stones from the crumbled buildings. There were different streets that led to different hunting routes, and also the sound of hungry, deadly and evil monsters roaring and growling filled the place."This place is more strange than I anticipated," Draken mused while sweeping his gaze through the ruined city. While Draken was busy examining the place, he began to hear footsteps from behind prompting him to turn around. All he saw were four individuals that consisted of two guys and two ladies, all equipped in high graded Monster Armours, and different weapons strapped behind the
It happened right after Draken finished hunting the monsters..."SlYSTEM OVERHAUL COMMENCING...""THE SYSTEM WILL UNDERGO ALTERATIONS...""YOU WILL RETAIN YOUR PREVIOUS ABILITIES AS PASSIVES...""ALTERATIONS DONE, YOUR SYSTEM HAS EVOLVED.""YOU WILL BE TRANSMIGRATED INTO A NEW REALITY." "THE MORE ACHIEVEMENTS YOU GATHER, THE MORE YOU CAN TRAVEL THROUGH OTHER REALITIES." "COMMENCING TRANSMIGRATION..." "YOU WILL RETAIN YOUR NAME, AND REGAIN THE MEMORIES OF YOUR NEW HOST BODY..." "What the?" Draken didn't have time to react, he was suddenly engulfed by a bright gold light. The next thing he knew, he was in a different place...By unlocking achievements, he would be able to obtain and upgrade the corresponding skills."The f*ck! Why would this lousy system take me to a different world?"A few months later...Draken decided to play through with the whole thing, and using his skills, he managed to earn enough money to cater for himself. But the question as to what's next kept lurking.
Three days passed, and Draken gathered at his school along with his classmates. Yonkers First High School had a total of 863 students taking the college entrance exam this time, which was a big test for all the schools. The principal, standing on the high flag-raising platform, gave an encouraging speech before the exam. He reminded the students that going to Myriad Beast Mountain was a chance to see how well they'd been preparing for years. He told them that being a martial artist meant protecting others, not just fighting bravely. He suggested they think carefully if they weren't sure about that kind of life. Once inside Myriad Beast Mountain, even with emergency devices, rescue might not come right away, leaving their fate uncertain. He stressed the need for courage and determination, asking them to think again about their decision. Draken was surprised by the principal's advice, wondering why he would suggest giving up on the exam. However, it was normal when Draken thought about
Draken's reaction speed surpassed the others, possibly because of his transmigration status, even though they were all level 6 Martial Apprentices. With two lives under his belt, Draken possessed more life experience than regular high schoolers. Despite occasionally acting immaturely to trigger his achievement system, he remained vigilant. He noticed the green shadows emerging from the grass before anyone else and swiftly took action, especially when he realized they were targeting Nana, who had his back turned."Be careful!" Draken whispered, pushing Nana out of harm's way. Then, he swiftly employed his basic movement technique, his palms glowing red as he struck out with his fists.Utilizing the Diamond Dust Palm technique, Draken swiftly dispatched the green shadows, shattering their heads with precise strikes. The power of the Diamond Dust Palm was evident as the beasts fell simultaneously.Recognizing the creatures as jade snakes, Draken swiftly took action, a skill he had honed
The subordinate, drenched in sweat, rushed to explain, "We've just found out that the zone numbers don't match the ones we cleared previously...""What was H District originally assigned as?" the director's expression turned grim."J-J District," the subordinate replied weakly."J District?!" The director shot up from his seat, his voice filled with anger. "How could such a monumental mistake happen? What exactly are you all doing?!"Fuming, the director continued, "Do you realize the significance of J District? Do you understand the potential loss of life because of this error?""Director, w-we..." The subordinate's back was drenched in cold sweat. "This isn't entirely our fault. We cleared the examination area before the exam started. However, there seems to have been a subtle but significant geological shift in the secret realm of Myriad Beast Mountain afterward. The positions of the mountainside and the foot of the mountain seemed to have swapped. By the time we noticed, the exam
