2024-10-29 19:42:56Draken stood on the same spot in silence after hearing Kai's words. Draken had no idea of what happened to him that made him awaken a whole new Talent.
All he remembered was he attempting suicide, then waking up the next day on his bed. Draken had concluded that his suicide attempt might have just been a dream and didn't actually happen since it wasn't possible for him to escape death like that unless he had a strong Talent.
How then was he able to reawaken the ability? And the Talent wasn't the same as the rest of the Talents he had seen. There had never been a case where someone could view his talent stats like a video game and also increase their stats and unlock new abilities like a game. Or was there?
"Look, I am not here to boss you around or threaten you in any way, no. I only want to know, and maybe help," Kai added since the teenage boy just remained in the same position mute.
"Help? You want to help me?!" Draken questioned in a high pitched tone.
"Well, yeah, if you actually need one, though." Kai responded.
"The only way for a human to get a second reawakening is if they manage to reach the peak of their old Talent, then awaken a fresh one. Also, there is also another way since you don't look like someone who reached the full potential of his talent, I assumed you followed the other route."
"What other route?" Draken inquired with a puzzled expression.
"It means you either swore an oath, or you have a High ranked Chaos object with you that must have triggered for some reason." Kai responded, moving closer to Draken, his two hands still in his pocket as he moved forward.
"But judging by how you still have control over your body, I guess you didn't swear an oath, meaning you have a Chaos object in your possession."
Draken remained mute, trying to digest Kai's words. “I don't remember having a Chaos object. Wait..wait..hold on..the circular object Master Jang gave me, where is it?” Draken pondered, placing his hand in his pocket but couldn't feel the object where it used to be.
"Looking for something? If you are looking for the Chaos Object, it must have vanished the moment you reawakened." Kai remarked after noticing Draken searching his pocket.
"Stop saying Chaos Energy! Stop enjoying it! I don't use Chaos energy, and I didn't swear an oath." Draken voiced. "I was only looking for the heirloom Master Jang passed down to me on his dying bed."
"Master Jang?" Kai questioned with a serious look.
"Yes, he gave me an object when he was about to die. He said when the time is right, I will figure out just what it is..." Draken paused in his words as the whole thing now seemed to make sense to him.
"It must have been the object Master Jang gave you. It is either a high graded Chaos object, or probably something powerful to cause a second reawakening," Kai stated.
"Return back to your dorm room and search thoroughly, if you don't find the object, then you truly had a second reawakening. This is Hilarious. It's one in a million.”
Draken nodded his head as he began to run off immediately. "Also,when you are back we will discuss about your punishment for hurting Matthew!" Kai shouted as Draken ran off.
“There is no doubt, the academy would execute him once they find out his secret, since it is under the Talent Academy rule to execute both the Chaos energy users and also the reawakened, for they are dangerous.” Kai intoned with a worried expression.

Draken rushed back to his dorm room immediately and began to search around for the round object. He pulled out his drawer, checking his second trouser pocket, under the bed, but it was nowhere to be found.
After searching for several minutes, Draken collapsed on his bed and was panting heavily. "It's gone," Draken uttered, wiping the sweat off his forehead.
"Mr Kai did say that the Chaos Object would trigger under a certain circumstance. It must have been activated when I jumped off the roof last night. I guess that wasn't a dream after all," Draken intoned as he slowly connected the dots.
"Come to think of it, was it truly a Chaos object? Or something else entirely? Because there is no way Master Jang was a Chaos User."
