Chapter 296: Baby Beasts

Lu Zhen woke up the next day feeling fresh and with a clear mind. He stretched his body and wings while still hanging upside down. He was about to continue going deeper inside the Wilderness when he noticed a commotion below the tree.

A baby elephant and unicorn were running away frantically, their bodies covered in open wounds and injuries. Chasing after the calf and sparkle was a huge crowd of cloaked figures who surrounded the two baby beasts. Ezra's legs let go of the branch and did numerous flips before making a superhero landing.

He looked at the two little beasts with curiosity and once he smelled the scent of blood, his senses went crazy. Every fibre of his body was telling him that if he devoured these two beasts, his strength would increase by leaps and bounds.
