A few minutes before the Solar System was teleported to the Divine Realm, Professor Croft had reached the most important stage in integrating nanomachines with Raya's cells. There seemed to be something stopping this process from completion and he didn't know what, he also hadn't any ideas on how to breakthrough whatever this was.

But when the Solar System was teleported to the Divine Realm, the answer appeared on its own and he quickly implemented it. What Professor wanted was to fuse the nanomachines into the cells but was going about it the wrong way.

Instead, what he should have done was expose the human body to extreme environments and allow it to slowly evolve and adapt but this process would take too long. So what he did instead was stimulate the body's survival instincts, if the cells refused to integrate with the nanotech then the only option was death.

It was only then that a hundred percent integration was achieved and Raya was reborn as a new person.
