Derek Pierre was of course at the hotel's lounge waiting for a go ahead, this was one of the most happiest day of his life that he was about to live again, because he had just proposed to Ivy in a restaurant, where either of their parents weren't present which was what he had not hoped for, but circumstances let them not to be present but now that they actually wanted to be present he needed them to witness this great day with him.

A car pulled up into the hotel grounds and looking down from his lunch he saw that the car was the one his fiance was in.

Just tell the door to his hotel room opened and his friend walked in and said;

"They are here. I believe it's time to start heading down to the hotel lobby."

The hotel lobby was the place he will have to ask for her hand in marriage in front of everybody as his witness.
