Back at the autos shop, Palo wasted no time darling back the number that had ordered him not to sell the car.

His hands were slightly unsteady as a pressed the call button, his mind racing a marathon.

He was not stranger to deal with high profile clients, but this was different. The number belonged to someone with real influence, someone powerful enough to make even a man like him think twice.

He wouldn't dare offend whoever was on the other end of that line.

Back then, when they call connected, a deep, commanding voice had resonated through the speaker.

It had carried an unshakable authority, making Palo straighten instinctively, despite being alone.

Invisible sweat gathered at his brow. Even over the phone, the presence of this person was suffocatingly damning, when he ordered him to let him know when Jasper had left.

“H-hello,” Palo voice slightly trembled when the call connected again. “Are you still there?”

“Yes, Behind you.”

Palo's heart skipped a confusing beat. Something had, once again, changed in his voice!

Slowly, he turned around and his eyes widened when it came in contacts with Sabito's grey ones.

Palo carned his neck, becoming even more confused. “You… you called me?” The tremble in his voice had vanished, replaced with disbelief.

“What… what in fucks name is this?” he muttered more to himself, something else slowly taking over him.

“Hi, good morning, Mr…”

Fuck! He didn't even know his name. He had acted in the spir of the moment, ordering him not to sell the car.

He doesn't even know this man, of it wasn't for the system, maybe wouldn't have known or be able to talk to him in this lifetime or even in the next.

Judging from the card at the stand, he must have had an influential background. Just a glimpse, and Sabito knew that this man wasn't someone to mess with.

And yet, here he was, and even worse, clueless about his na—

{Palo. His name is Palo…}

“…Mr palo.” Sabito let out a breath, finally greeting him with an outstretched arm for a handshake.

Finally, rescue from the system.

He didn't need to but judging from his age, he should be older than him.

Even though he now possessed a sort of power, he didn't dare to discard basic courtesy, at least, not yet.

But a few seconds ticked by and his outstretched arm wasn't accepted, making him look up.

Sabito's eyes met dark, angry ones staring disdainfully at him, burning with irritation as if Sabito had personally offended him just by existing.

It was as if the air he breathed out are torments even to the plants itself.

Palo's lips curled into a sneer. The moment he had laid eyes on Sabito, his mood soured completely.

He had expected someone powerful, someone worthy of the call he received. Instead, standing before him was… this?

A fucking retched begged? Was this some kind of joke?

His jaw tightened as frustration erupted through his veins, flowing as molten fire flows from a volcanic eruption.

For this…this thing stand before him, he had let a potential buyer walk away, even going as far as insulting him,all for a single phone call.

A phone call that has led him to this man… a man whose clothes looked like they belonged in a distance, whose presence reeked of nothing but poverty.

Palo scoffed, his fingers twitching in annoyance. “You?” his voice dripped with unhidden disdain. “Are you playing games with me, kid? A Ferrari? You can't even afford decent clothes, and you want to buy a car worth millions of dollars?”

He folded his arms, waiting and watching, fully prepared to throw this nuisance out of necessary.

He didn't even need to do it himself. With a snap of his fingers, the security will pick him up and throw him into the dump trash, where he really belongs.

However, despite all this, Sabitos expression didn't change at all. If anything, the corners of his lips twitched upward, amusement flickering in his eyes.

He tilted his head slightly to the right, as if contemplating palo's words, and then let out a low chuckle.

“Hmm, so quick to judge,” he murmured calmly, unprovoked as he dusted off an invisible speck of dust off his worn out clothes. “Is this how you treat all your customers?”

Sabito's demeanor exudes an air of quiet confidence… unshaken, as if his tattered appearance was merely a disguise, unworthy of affecting his poise.

He hadn't intended to be like this, but this manager had to make him throw his courtesy out the window.

Now, he would have to put him in his place, doesn't he?

Palo's nostrils flared. “Customers?” He scoffed. “Kid, I don't have time for begged playing pretend. If you know what's good for you, you'll turn around and leave before I throw you out myself!”

Sabito hummed, tapping on his chin. “That's quite the attitude for a businessman. No wonder the real big shots don't bother buying from you directly.”

In contrast to Sabito's calm ones, Palo's face darkened. “What did you just say to me, kid?”

Sabito's smirk widened. He took a slow step forward, unfazed by the anger radiating from the man before him.

“You heard me. But fine, since you're so certain I can't afford it…” he reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone, and tapped the screen a few times.

He had stopped by to purchase one after he left Lisa. Just like how this Palo was treating him, the lady at the phone stand had looked down on him, calling him names.

A second later, Palo's own phone vibrated aggressivly in his pockets.

Frowning, he pulled it out, glancing at the notification that had just appeared. The moment he saw it, his brain hitched, instantly turning overdrive mode.

His hands trembled slightly as his eyes widened in disbelief!

A full payment? No negotiations, no installments. The notification was just a cold, hard cash wired instantly to his account.

Palo's mouth went dry, a lump forming that stunned him into speechlessness. But he swallowed hard, unable to hear his gaze away from the numbers staring back at him.

Sabito took, another step closer, leaning in just enough for his voice to drop to a near whisper.

“Now, tell me, Palo,” he said, his smirk turning razor-sharp. “Am I still a begger?”
