Sabito didn't answer that. After all, he thought manager Kim has a low IQ compared to him.

He only focused, his fingers tapped calm across his phone screen. Within seconds, the beep of confirmation rang from Kim's phone!

“P-payment received?” one of the guards read aloud in a disbelieving voice. Their posture shifted, less tense.

When Kelvin heard the words, his grin falted immediately. He reached for a bright red designer dress. “I'll take this,” he sneered, loud enough for everyone to hear. “I dare you to buy another.”

Sabito's lips curled into a satisfied smirk! How foolish are some people? He was excited about the kind of game they were about to play right now.

He wanted Kelvin to jump into his trap and he just had to jump right in.

Sabito pointed at the jacket beside the mannequin. “I'll take that too.”

Kelvin picked alteo more. Sabito bought an entire row.

The room now grew still. Customers stared at the games between two clients. On one hand, a son from an influential family, and on the other hand, a mere boy they thought was, well… poor. But their eyes were beginning to open.

Whispers emerged, turning into murmurs. Some took out their phone and took a few pictures and videos, giving it a caption before posting it on the Internet.

They watched as Sabito bought another rack without blinking. Oh God, they've misjudged him. They've… What have they done?!

Kevin's jaws twitched. The attention that had been on him was slipping.

“He's just showing now,” Kelsey whispered loudly.

Kelvin stepped up to the manager. “Get rid of him. Now. This is a high-class establishment and the likes of him shouldn't be welcomed.”

As if a spell had been broken from Kim's head, he nodded. “You've made your point,” he agreed before slowly turning and snapping at Sabito. In a stern voice, he commanded, “Now leave.”

Just then, Sabitos phone buzzed with an incoming message.

[ALERT! Owner of L&K, the CEO of this mall, seeks an immediate buyer due to private debt. Contact now for an urgent transaction.]

Sabito read it silently. Then he looked at Kim. His posture was riddled with nonchalance.

“Buying clothes isn't really interesting anymore, courtesy of some people,” he sighed in mock tiredness, referring to how Kelvin had initially bragged about emptying the mall.

“Why don't I buy the entire mall instead?”

Total silence!

And then, ever so slowly, laughter erupted after it finally registered.

Kim laughed the hardest. “You? Buy this place?” he asked, pointing and looking around the mall. “Do…do you know how much it costs?” His voice still has elements of mockery.

Sabito ignored them. “Get the mall owner's account number, now.” he ordered in his mind.

{On it, host.}

A few seconds later, a new message pops up.

[ACCOUNT NUMBER: Mrs. Evelyn Choi. Verified. Total: 1.2 Billion. Proceed?]

Sabito pressed a yes, but then he paused. He recalled he didn't have much money left, coupled with the fact that he had purchased quite a few clothes minutes ago.

Sabito frowned, still not understanding this system. When he woke up, the system had instructed that…

“Oh… that's what it meant,” he muttered, nodding slowly as the realization sank in. It had indeed mentioned topping his account once he finished spending what was already there.

His frown slowly turns into an excited grin. Having a system wasn't a bad idea after all.

Sabito's ears heard the gloating voice of Kelvin, dragging him out of his reverie.

“What? Begining to feel regretful already? Bragging when you don't even have a dime, isn't that shameful?”

“Yeah, and here I thought he was seriously going to buy it,” Zelda chimed in arrogantly. “Shameless indeed!”

Kim waved to the guards. “Throw him out. Now. He's insane.”

Sabito saw Maya step forward. “Sir, this isn't right. He…he hasn't done anything wrong.” she tried to speak up for him.

But her words made kin to become livid with anger. “One more word again, Maya, and you're fired! And what are you still waiting for, standing there?” Kim bellowed to the security men who wore a confused look.

One of the men tasked with throwing Sabito out couldn't help but think that it wasn't fair. He just bought clothes worth thousands of dollars, and yet, manager Kim still wants to throw him out? The security man felt a tinge of pity for Sabito. But he couldn't possibly dare to question the manager's orders.

The guards grabbed Sabito's arm, but he didn't resist, only allowing them to grab him. His eyes remained on the screen.

Just as the guards began to drag him…

The boutique doors burst open again. A regal woman in a cream coat and heels steeped inside. Her hair was tied in a tight bun. Her diamond earrings glittered.

It was Evelyn Choi. “Let him go.” She said, her voice, a mixture of fire and ice!

Mr Kim, initially full of himself, felt as shame cloaked his entire being. “But Madam Choi—”

“I said, let him go. Right now!”

The guards stepped back instantly. Kim stumbled forward, whispering. “He was disturbing the peace.”

He hoped that Evelyn would believe him but she walked past him like he was nothing. She approached Sabito and bowed deeply!

“Thank you for your purchase, Mr Sabito. You have no idea what you've done for me. The mall is now yours,” and with that, she walked away.

Gasps after gasps rippled through the boutiques walls.

Kim, who stood frozen the moment he heard Evelyn speak, looked like he'd been slapped.

Zelda hands trembled, her phone slipping off her fingers as she processed what just happened.

Kelvin took a step back, color draining from his face.

Sabito could have rejoiced at the victory, but not when the look on Mrs Evelyn struck a chord somewhere deep in his heart. She looked very troubled and happy at the same time…

“You bought… this entire mall?” Maya looked at Sabito, with green eyes that were a wide surprise.

Sabito looked at her and smiled, finally drawn back to earth. “ Just felt like shopping.”

“Heh heh,” Zelda, after thinking, decided to fawn over Sabito. She had said all sorts of things to him and now, he has turned to his boss. “Boss… eh, what are your orders?”

“Who wants to be a manager?” Sabito asked Maya as if someone hadn't spoken just now. Like an air, he completely treated Zelda with a cold indifference.

Maya's eyes widened, a mixture of disbelief and gratefulness glowing on her face.

“Thank you so much, boss,” Maya was full of gratitude. “I promise that I won't fail you!”

“You don't have to tell me that, Maya.”

“Yes, yes. I… I promise that I won't fail you too.” Zelda was full of regret.

Sabito looked at her. “Accepted,” he said, sighing. “But…” he let his words hang, making Zelda's heart beat with desperation.

“But…?”

“You just need to do something.”

“And…what's that?”

“You just have to use that exit!”
