CHAPTER TEN

As dawn painted the sky with hues of pink and gold, the forest awoke with a symphony of chirping birds and rustling leaves. Princess Sophie stirred from her sleep, the soft light filtering through the canopy above casting a gentle glow over her face.

"Morning already?" she mumbled, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she sat up, blankets slipping from her shoulders.

Martin yawned loudly, stretching his arms above his head. "Seems like it," he said, his voice thick with drowsiness. "Guess it is time to rise and shine."

Alex emerged from his makeshift bedroll nearby, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Another day, another adventure," he declared, his voice filled with excitement. "Who is ready to tackle whatever the forest throws at us today?"

Lady Lysandra chuckled softly, the warmth of the morning sun painting her features with a golden glow. "Count me in," she said, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "I have got a feeling today is going to be full of surprises."
