CHAPTER ELEVEN

As the night pressed on, the darkness seemed to grow thicker, enveloping them like a heavy blanket. Princess Sophie couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, as if unseen eyes were peering at them from the shadows.

"I do not know about you guys, but this darkness is giving me the creeps," Alex whispered, his voice barely audible over the crackling of the fire. "It is like the forest is holding its breath, waiting for something."

Martin nodded in agreement, his gaze darting nervously between the trees. "I have got goosebumps the size of boulders," he admitted, his voice tinged with unease. "This place gives me the heebie-jeebies."

Lady Lysandra glanced around the clearing, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. "There is definitely something out there," she said, her tone serious. "We need to stay alert."
