Meanwhile, Dixon went home with Diana.

Diana was still dumbfounded all the way home. She never thought that Dixon would slap Sonny for her. When she snapped out of her reverie, she began to worry. Dixon's attack would definitely offend Sonny.

They arrived at Diana's house.

Diana pressed the doorbell, and after some time, William opened the door and looked at Diana with guilt-filled eyes.

William looked at Dixon who was standing behind Diana. But, he didn't say anything and just nodded. "Let's go in."

"Don't come in!"

Dixon had not yet entered the house, but when Yoruna came in hastily, her face was still covered in tears. "Get out!"

She shooed Dixon away.

"Because of you, Diana will be humiliated and bullied in Reddof! You have ruined my daughter's good name! Get out now!" Yoruna cried as she shouted. She was not at all willing to let Dixon marry her daughter.

If Dixon was a wonderful man who came from a wealthy family, Yoruna might have been able to accept it. But, in reality Dixon was older than Diana by ten years, he did not come from a wealthy family, had no achievements of any kind, and was homeless.

Dixon said nothing and turned to leave, but Diana suddenly grabbed his hand to restrain him from leaving.

"Mom, let him in," Diana said with a pitiable facial expression.

If she let Dixon go now, Sonny would definitely send people to harm Dixon.

"Diana, he..." Yoruna stammered.

"He's... my husband," Diana said resignedly. She bit her lip. The word 'husband' was so foreign to her, as if it carried a needle that stabbed painfully in her heart.

Yoruna was getting sad. She ran back to her room and slammed the door hard shut.

"Come in," Diana said softly to Dixon.

Dixon entered the small and cramped house. Even though, the Hamilton family is the third-tier wealthy family in Reddof, but Diana's house is even smaller than the houses of the general citizens.

Diana took Dixon to her room. The room was not large, but it was very neat.

Her voice was a little tired, "You'd better not go out for this time. Sonny won't let you go. Stay in my house first, he won't dare to touch you here."

Diana looked at Dixon. It was hard to imagine that she suddenly had a husband.

"From now on, you will sleep on the floor, I will sleep on the bed. You live your life and I will live mine, okay?" Diana said.

Dixon didn't say anything and just nodded.

This woman was still very kind even after she had grown up. Dixon began to consider whether he should take out the handkerchief? But after thinking about it, he decided not to do so.

They remained silent and the situation became a bit awkward.

Suddenly, Diana's phone rang.

"Diana, from today onwards, you no longer need to come to Hamilton Group for work!"

The phone call was from Sonny, and he haughtily said, "My dad already fired you!"

Sonny disconnected the phone call, and Diana became sad. Although she had previously guessed that this would happen to her.

Of course Dixon heard the conversation between Sonny and Diana, because Diana had turned up the volume on her phone earlier.

Dixon silently looked at Diana, he was getting more annoyed with Sonny who really started to take revenge on Diana so quickly.

"I was the one who slapped him, and it has nothing to do with you." Dixon approached Diana, and said directly, "I will solve this."

"No need." Diana shook her head and said with tear-stained eyes, "Don't look for him, he will kill you."

Diana knew that Sonny was very cruel.

"Also, my parents shouldn't know about this, if they find out, you will definitely be kicked out of here."

"It's just a job anyway. If I can't work at the Hamilton Group anymore, I'll find another job," Diana continued. Then she took a deep breath and lay down on her bed.

Dixon didn't say anything else. There was nothing he could say to this kind-hearted woman. But, one thing he could do was: make whoever had bullied or harmed Diana will receive more cruel retribution!

Dixon took out his phone to send a short message to Witan. It was very short, but very deadly!

That night, the house felt much quieter than usual. Yet it also felt more romantic. Dixon had just finished showering with Diana, both of them still warm and damp, their hair dripping with tiny beads of water, their skin feeling fresh. Dixon wore a towel wrapped around his waist, and Diana was covered with a thin towel that wrapped around her small figure. Diana looked at him with a soft smile, her cheeks blushing after the bath. Dixon leaned against the bathroom doorframe, watching Diana towel off her damp skin. Steam curled around her silhouette, softening the edges of her body in the golden light. She caught his gaze in the mirror, lips quirking. “Enjoying the view?” He crossed the room in two strides, fingers hooking into the edge of her towel. “Not yet.” With a slow tug, the fabric pooled at her feet. Diana shivered, not from cold, but from the way his eyes darkened as they traced her bare curves. Dixon’s palm slid up her waist, thumb brushing the undersid

For Dixon, every breath reminded him of the long nights when he trained under Master Takeda’s guidance. It reminded him of the secret missions he had completed and of the teacher who now lived only in memory. After the battle at Reddof Harbor, Dixon stood alone at the edge of the pier. The waves rolled slowly beneath him, as if trying to wash away the traces of blood left behind that night. Ren Jialong was gone. Dixon had won, yet no applause followed. Because this victory was too emotional for him. He had avenged the death of his fellow student, the one who murdered their master. But betrayal deserved to die and to become burning fire in hell. Dixon closed his eyes, letting the night wind touch his face. In that silence, he seemed to hear his master’s voice, always firm yet full of wisdom. “In every strike you release, make sure there is a reason.” “In every life you take, make sure there is responsibility.” Dixon opened his eyes. The sea before him felt vast, ye

Dixon clenched his fists, the veins in his arms tightening. “For six months I carried out that mission, tracing the southern plains, the west, even the borders of the northern lands. I returned to Master Takeda to report that I had failed.” His eyes dimmed. His voice turned bitter. “But when I came home, my master was already gone. He left no message. No trace. No one knew where he went," said Dixon. Ren grinned with cruel delight. Dixon lowered his head slightly, and for the first time since the fight began, his voice trembled. “Because I was searching for you, I lost my master,” Dixon said. The coastal wind swept across them, carrying the salty smell mixed with blood. “People said he was meditating in untouched mountains,” Dixon continued. “But I know that is not true. He would never leave without a reason. He would never leave without telling us.” He stared at Ren with eyes that almost burned. “I have searched for him until today. I even stationed my men in the

The Exalted One rose with an unsteady body, his breath ragged, yet his eyes still burned with fierce hatred. Without caring about his injured ribs, he rushed forward again, this time wilder, more desperate. He swung his right fist with full force, then leaped into a spinning kick from the side. Each strike made the wooden pier tremble. But all of that… Was still far too slow for Dixon. Dixon caught his wrist and twisted it slightly, just enough to break the Exalted One’s balance. A single knee strike from Dixon slammed into the Exalted One’s stomach. BUAGH! The man folded like paper, his body lifting from the impact before crashing hard onto the pier. Before he could even take a breath, Dixon was already above him. DUK! Dixon’s foot pressed against the Exalted One’s chest with a force strong enough to almost crack the wood beneath them. The Exalted One screamed, blood spraying from his mouth and staining the planks. Dixon looked down with a dark expression, one he had n

The Exalted One raised his hand as if he were about to remove his mask, and Dixon watched every movement without blinking. But in the next second… It was not the sound of mask clasps that echoed. It was the thud of the pier floor as the Exalted One shot forward, his body turning into a black blur that was almost invisible. In a single blink, he was already right in front of Dixon. The attack came like an arrow fired from one inch away, a straight punch aimed at Dixon’s heart, fast, aggressive, and without hesitation. For weeks, the Exalted One had vanished from the underground world. No news, no reports, not a single trace. Dixon knew he went to train, but he never expected it to be this extreme. Rumor had it that the Exalted One climbed the Northern Mountains, a place where only a few people could survive the freezing cold that could bite through bone. There he honed his skills until the cliff walls were covered with the marks of his fists. He returned with a single purpose:

Evan stood before the grand gate of the Romma family residence. The evening breeze drifted softly, yet his chest felt tight. After that humiliating incident, after witnessing with his own eyes how Dixon disgraced him without even trying, he finally understood one thing: opposing Dixon was not only foolish, it was suicide. From that day on, Evan decided to return home. Not to surrender, but to protect what he could still protect. The Romma family was startled when Evan came back without warning. He gave them a clear warning, “Never provoke Dixon, and never make him an enemy.” Evan’s serious face, once arrogant and full of confidence, now looked like someone who had just returned from a battlefield and realized how small he was in front of a far greater power. His family nodded, even if they did not fully understand. They obeyed him anyway. Evan had never looked that frightened before. *** Weeks passed. With no disturbances of any kind, life went smoothly. Hamilton Group, once
