Diana felt frustrated because changing investors wasn’t something easy to handle. Moreover, the party they’d been negotiating with all along was Buka Group. So, how could they suddenly be unsuitable? She hadn’t even heard of Applo Group before.

“Why don’t you let me ask more questions?” Diana asked, stepping closer.

Dixon poured her a cup of tea.

“Have a cup of tea and clear your throat,” Dixon chuckled. “She's come prepared, so whatever you ask, she'll have an answer. You’ll run out of things to ask.”

“There must be a problem,” Diana sighed.

“Of course there’s a problem,” Dixon replied, pulling out his phone. He’d sensed something was wrong since Lily had started talking.

When Dixon heard that the investor was being switched to Applo Group, he immediately sent the name to Paulo, asking him to investigate the company’s background as quickly as possible.

“There’s a big problem here. Just see for yourself,” Dixon said, handing his phone to Diana.
