Diana didn’t say anything the entire way home. After a long silence, she finally looked at Dixon. "Am I foolish?"

"How could my wife be foolish?"

"You always say I'm kind-hearted, but being too kind is just as bad as being foolish, right?" Diana gave a bitter smile. "My eldest aunt has always looked down on my family. I don’t like her, but I can’t force myself to hate her just because she's my aunt."

"But there are people in this world who don’t deserve my kindness, right?" Diana asked again.

"You didn’t say anything today so I could realize this on my own, didn’t you?" Diana looked at Dixon, her tone serious.

Dixon chuckled. "I just said my dear wife isn’t foolish; in fact, you're very smart."

After Dixon’s response, Diana fell silent. She looked out the window, taking a deep breath after a moment.

"Dixon, I realize I’m starting to like you." She didn’t look at Dixon, but her words made his heart skip a beat.

"Diana!" Tarry shouted like a vengeful ghost. "Is this the type of person your company hires? Just wait and see!" She stormed out in a fury, her high heels clacking loudly. "Call in the cleaning staff and spray some air freshener in here. Why does it smell like rotting stench?" Dixon mocked Tarry. Tarry had just stepped one foot into the elevator when she heard the insult, and her rage flared up even more! Diana nearly burst out laughing at Tarry's furious expression. Her secretary and other staff members couldn't hold back either and laughed out loud. "Dixon, your eyesight is incredible! You can even spot her plastic surgeries!" Diana tried to stifle her laughter as she made her way to her office. "How did you know she had plastic surgery?" Diana turned to Dixon after a moment. "It's too obvious. The doctor who did it was probably a quack," Dixon replied with a straight face. Dixon's observational skills were incredibly sharp; he could even detect when someone was weari

At the hotel... Nato stood by the large glass window. "Yes, Boss. I think it would be better if I handle this project myself. Tarry seems to have some personal issues that might affect her judgment," Nato said on the phone. "Don’t worry, Boss, I’ll take care of this." After ending the call, Nato turned to look at the photo and information on Diana that he had collected on the table. He had asked someone to investigate everything before arriving at the hotel. "Diana. She’s beautiful. A girl who looks so pure," Nato licked his lips. "A woman like this must be very pleasing." "A woman with beauty like hers choosing to marry a useless man? Maybe she just wanted to use someone insignificant as a shield. Quite a clever idea." "Modify the proposal for the Hamilton Group now and adjust it to my requirements," Nato immediately sent instructions to his secretary. "Diana, no woman who catches my interest can escape me!" *In the next room* Tarry lay in a bathtub full of bubbles. He

“Get out! You don’t deserve to be the CEO Diana’s husband, and you definitely shouldn’t be sitting with me,” Nato sneered. “A homeless man leeching off his wife’s family, how amusing!” Nato laughed disdainfully. “HAHA! Leave now. Don’t disturb my dinner with CEO Diana.” “You’ve gone too far!” Diana snapped before Dixon could speak. Dixon had always protected her, so there was no way Diana would stand by while her husband was humiliated like this. “Apologize?” Nato was momentarily stunned before bursting into laughter. “CEO Diana, stop pretending. He’s just a shield; there’s no need to take him seriously. He’s not worthy of you.” “Besides, I’m a better match for you. CEO Diana, if you become my woman, I can boost the project’s profits by 5%. Trust me, it’s a small matter easily handled.” Nato's face was full of confidence. “I said, apologize to Dixon!” Diana glared at Nato. “You claim he’s not good enough for me, but the person who’s unworthy is you!” “I won’t let you insul

Why isn’t Nato answering his phone?” Zokhu tried calling repeatedly, but there was no answer. He knew something must have gone terribly wrong. “Where are they?” he asked anxiously. “We just got some information. Dixon lifted one foot and kicked the door hard. Nato was just about to pounce on Diana when a massive explosion sounded behind him. The door flew inward and crashed loudly onto the floor. Nato spun around and roared angrily, "Who’s there?! Who dares interrupt me?!" Turning, the first thing he saw was Dixon, emanating a deadly aura. Nato narrowed his eyes. "He got here so quickly?" Dixon scanned the room and spotted Diana cowering in a corner, her face full of fear and tears, clutching a lamp handle tightly. "You really found your way here," taunted Nato, still oblivious to the danger he faced. "Right on time! It’s fascinating to see how I’ll leave here with your wife." Dixon moved, without a trace of hesitation. Like a rocket, he reached Nato in a flash. Dixon’s kick landed directly in Nato’s groin. “AHHH!!” Nato’s scream echoed throughout the room. Both his arms and legs broke, and his groin was drenched in blood. Fresh blood spilled as he rolled around on the floor,

Dixon carried Diana in his arms. "Let’s go," he said gently. Diana remained silent, resting obediently in Dixon's embrace with her eyes closed. She didn’t want to see any of what had happened. After they left, Gobu entered the room with several other men. “What are you going to do? What do you want?!” Nato shouted in fear, feeling as if his soul had left his body. "Take him away!" *** On the way home, Diana never let go of Dixon. Hiding in his arms was the safest place in the world for her. Dixon carried her all the way back. When they reached home, Dixon noticed that Diana had fallen asleep in his arms. He carefully tried to lay her down on the bed, but she startled awake, panicked. “Dixon! “It’s okay, I’m not hungry.” Dixon shook his head. “Mom, you and Dad can go rest. I’ll stay here with Diana.” Yoruna said nothing more. She took the food back to the kitchen, keeping it warm in a pot so Dixon could heat it up whenever he wanted. Afterward, she returned to her room, where William was seated, rubbing his legs. In a while, he’d be able to walk again. “Is he still with Diana?” William looked over at Yoruna and asked. Yoruna nodded, her eyes slightly red. “He doesn’t want to eat. He’s afraid of waking her.” “How can he be so good to Diana? But... I worry that our daughter isn’t worthy of him,” Yoruna said, troubled. Yoruna knew a bit about Dixon. She had a rough idea of how wealthy he was—no one else in Reddof could match him, that was certain. And Dixon was truly exceptional. In a short time, he had earned the respect and loyalty of many men. This was something that couldn’t be achieved by just anyone. But because of all this, Yoruna felt uneasy. She feared th

In just three short days, the assets of the Forr and Swha families were completely destroyed—not a single one remained standing. All the major projects owned by the Roa family collapsed, and they suffered tremendous losses. Even the highly favored third son of the Roa family had been swallowed by this darkness, and it was now difficult for him to see the light of day again. As for the Obama family… they were now trembling. Inside the main hall of the Obama family residence, the atmosphere was gloomy—almost mournful. Oxe sat in the patriarch's seat with a dark expression. He had remained silent for half an hour. Gom didn’t even dare sit down. He only stood to the side with his head lowered, his face tense and full of pressure. “Our southern businesses are gone as well,” another report came in. “All our sales channels have been severed and we’ve lost so much. Several key directors have resigned in mass. The losses… they’re too great to even calculate!” How much information

This had nothing to do with him initially, but now he had ended up offending a powerful and ruthless enemy! He snorted and said nothing more. Then he turned and left. The heads of the Forr and Swha families also left. They went to prepare themselves to bear the wrath of the two legends. Gom was left standing there alone like a fool. His strength was completely drained. Four grandmasters killed at once? Gom’s arms dropped weakly to his sides and his fingers trembled. There was no expression on his face as he kept muttering, “This is impossible… This is impossible…” After the news was confirmed, Reddof was shaken once more. Everyone had been waiting for this news. They all wanted to see how much trouble the Obama family and the other three families would

"What did you say?!" Gom stared at him in disbelief. "That's... impossible! Impossible!!" "They're all dead! Four grandmasters were killed in Voroz, their bodies have been found. And the other eight—we fear they’re dead too!" Gom couldn’t move. He was frozen in place like a statue. The other three men widened their eyes, their faces pale as corpses. They couldn’t believe this was real. "What do you mean?! What are you talking about?!" The head of the Swha family shouted, grabbing the messenger by the collar. "Explain! How could our warriors who went to Reddof never come back?!" "They’re all dead!" "Dead..." the Roa family head muttered under his breath, barely audible. He couldn’t process the reality. They had sent twelve of their best fighters. Losing eight? That might have still been bearable, especially if it was just about Reddof, a place they considered insignificant. But... four grandmasters?! Four of them were true grandmasters—famed warriors in the north! T

  • 406-They're Gone!

In Reddof… The cold wind and freezing rain filled the air, thick with the scent of murder. The weather battered the city relentlessly. Several figures moved swiftly through the downpour. They were Gobu’s men—bloodthirsty wolves, brave warriors willing to risk their lives to protect their home. “ATTACK!” Gobu led from the front, shouting at the top of his lungs. The time to kill had come. The eight grandmasters from the north were spotted the moment they set foot in Reddof. There was murder in the air. The rain poured harder as the night grew deeper. No one dared go outside, and the bloodstains on the ground were quickly washed away. The eight highly skilled warriors caused no commotion. Not even a ripple. It was as if they had stepped into a mysterious vortex and vanished without a trace. It was nearly dawn, but the rain had not stopped. “This rain might help wash away some filth, so Reddof can feel fresh again—and people can see how powerful Reddof truly is, even though we'

“How dare you!” another one shouted. These two grandmasters were incredibly powerful—even stronger than Naim Noo. The other two were a terrifying boxer from overseas and a renowned martial artist from the world of traditional combat. The four of them stared directly at Dixon, locking him in with their deadly gazes. “I will kill you today!” roared the fighter from the Obama family. “Before you die, I’ll make sure you remember my name!” Just as he was about to say it, Dixon raised his hand. “No need. I already know your name,” Dixon pointed at the fighter from the Obama family, speaking in an utterly calm voice. “You are Corpse Number One.” “You’re Corpse Number Two.” “You’re Three, and you’re Four.” It was as if the very gunpowder in the air exploded instantly. The four fighters widened their eyes as they unleashed their murderous auras. Without another word, they charged at Dixon almost simultaneously. “Attack!!” A terrifying presence burst forth. • 404-That's Right

The twelve warriors had all been dispatched under the orders of the Obama family. Four grandmasters were sent to Voroz City, while the remaining eight were assigned to Reddof. “Don’t worry, Mr. Saton,” Gom replied calmly. “Eight elite fighters are more than enough to deal with Reddof. But Voroz... that’s a different story.” “And what if we fail to take down Reddof?” Saton Forr sounded agitated. He didn’t care much about Voroz. To him, Reddof was far more terrifying. The Forr family had only lost a few men in Voroz, but Reddof had completely driven them out—despite the fact they had ruled the area for over two decades. They even lost a grandmaster there! “Mr. Saton, failure is not an option,” said the head of the Roa family, finally speaking up. His tone made it clear he disapproved of Saton Forr’s attitude. “We’ve already agreed to entrust this matter to Gom, so let’s hear him out. I have faith in him.” Everyone in the alliance was in the same boat. No one dared act recklessly.

  • 403-What Do You Mean By This?

"Those four grandmasters..." Gobu looked slightly worried. They weren’t afraid of dying—but they were afraid of failing to protect Reddof. That would disappoint Dixon. "Don’t worry," Dixon said calmly. "They’re not going to Reddof." Gobu felt at ease. He wasn’t the sharpest thinker, but as long as he followed Dixon’s arrangements, everything would be fine. "Yes, Big Boss!" Gobu and the rest of the crew immediately returned to Reddof and began preparing for battle. Many eyes were watching this fight, and their mission was to deliver a hard slap to the faces of those powerful northern families. They would beat them until they were terrified! Crush them so thoroughly they wouldn’t dare covet Reddof again! Reddof was their home! "A distraction from the real target," Dixon muttered calmly. "How childish." All eyes were now on Reddof. The Obama family and the three other families had united to attack Reddof’s illegal circle. But in truth, while they had gathered twelve elite f

"The Roa family and my family have been operating in Voroz City for years, supporting the Allan and Romma families. We could have stayed relaxed, but someone from Reddof interfered and ruined our plans!" Gom continued in a loud voice, "And my brother, Lasso, also died in Voroz City! My family will definitely avenge this!" The head of the Roa family, Abigail, narrowed her eyes at Gom. "You are the future head of the Obama family, and I admire your drive. The Roa family is willing to work with you to reclaim Voroz City!" Abigail hadn’t planned to come personally, but after learning that Gom intended to become the next family head, she thought it was worth the visit. She was also older than Gom, which made negotiations easier when it came to securing more benefits in the future. In the north, timing and presence were everything. The balance of power shifted from time to time, so no one could predict what the situation would be when Gom finally took over the Obama family. Even if it

After the two men were dragged away, Paulo calmly instructed, “Send them back to the Obama family—and pack a few souvenirs from Reddof as well. Tell them that Reddof is ready to welcome our guests from the north.” They wanted to seize control of Reddof? Were the northerners looking for death? If they knew that the man behind Reddof was actually Dixon, Paulo wondered whether those powerful families would be so terrified, they’d rather kill themselves first. After traveling to the north and following Witan around, Paulo realized just how vast the world was—and how truly powerful Dixon was. What he had seen so far was only the tip of the iceberg. As for how strong Dixon really was, not even Witan knew. “If you dare set f
