CHAPTER EIGHT

CHAPTER EIGHT

**DELON KINGDOM**

MARIUS

After our first devastating defeat, my mind was consumed with restlessness. How could we, a powerful army, succumb to the hands of a mere weakling? My title as a king was on the line, and I refused to let it slip away so easily.

Suddenly, Lisa's voice jolted me from my deep thoughts. "How was the fight?" she asked, her tone laced with concern.

"As expected, he defeated us on our first attempt," I replied, my voice heavy with sadness.

"But how could he, a mere child, defeat you?" Lisa questioned, her confusion evident.

My anger boiled over.

"How dare you underestimate his powers! You know the impact of his birth on the Supernatural world. We must devise another plan, and quickly, before it's too late."

"My king, I have a plan,"

Lisa said with an evil grin.

My heart raced as I waited for her to reveal her scheme. Could it be something dangerous? Something forbidden?

"Are we going to use dark powers on him?" I asked, barely able to contain my excitement.

Lisa's calm reply only added to the suspense. "Of course, that's the only way we can defeat him. His powers are no match for the darkness."

I stared at her, wondering if she was truly the Lisa I knew or some imposter. In a world of supernaturals, anything was possible.

"Time is running out, my king," Lisa urged. "Make your decision and leave the rest to me. I'll crush him to powder."

I couldn't help but worry about the consequences.

"What if we unleash Lucifer again? Remember how hard it was to contain him last time?"

"That was because I didn't know what I was doing,"

Lisa replied with newfound confidence

"But this time, I have a ton of ideas that even you will approve of. Don't worry about the risks. Let's focus on the task at hand."

Lisa said quickly.

.

My heart raced as Lisa's words echoed in my mind. The fight for the throne of the supernaturals was about to begin, and I couldn't wait to sink my claws into it. But Lisa's sudden change in demeanor left me with a sinking feeling in my gut. What was she hiding?

As she walked away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. Was she planning something sinister? I watched her retreating figure, trying to read her thoughts.

But as she disappeared from sight, I was left with nothing but my own dark thoughts. What was going on in Lisa's mind? And what was I willing to do to claim the throne for myself? The answers were shrouded in mystery, and I couldn't wait to uncover them.

**GREEN VALLEY KINGDOM**

DEREK

My eyes widened in shock as I gazed at the gasping guard before me. What could have possibly frightened him so much? I waited with bated breath for him to catch his breath and reveal the dire situation at hand.

"My king," he finally gasped, "the Shadow monsters have arrived. And this time, they come in thousands. They've already defeated the border guards."

My heart skipped a beat as I struggled to comprehend the gravity of his words. What did these monsters want? And why did they choose this moment to attack?

"I demand to know their motives!" I roared, my anger rising.

"I cannot say, my king," the guard replied, his voice shaking with fear. "But it seems they aim to take over our kingdom."

My blood ran cold at the thought of these creatures ruling over our land. I could not let that happen.

"You dare speak such treason in my presence?" I thundered, my rage boiling over.

The guard fell to his knees, his face pale with terror. "Please, my king, forgive me. I spoke out of turn."

But my mind was already racing with plans to defend our kingdom. The Shadow monsters may have caught us off guard, but we would not go down without a fight.

"I will not tolerate any more mistakes like that," I hissed through gritted teeth. "One slip up could cost us everything. And if that happens, I'll make sure the consequences are severe." The guard visibly trembled at my words, but I couldn't afford to show any mercy. Not when our kingdom was on the brink of war.

"We need all the help we can get," I continued, my mind racing with possibilities. "But we can't trust just anyone. Queen Chiara is the only one we can rely on."

The guard nodded, his eyes wide with fear. "But what if she refuses to help? What if she's already been compromised?"

I leaned in closer, my voice dropping to a whisper. "Then we'll have to find another way. But for now, we have to try."

With a sense of urgency, I ordered the guard to teleport Chiara's kingdom and bring her I'mmediately because our fate rested in her hands, and I could only hope that she would come to our aid.

As the guard disappeared in a flash of light, I couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled in my stomach. The stakes were high, and the clock was ticking. Would Queen Chiara arrive in time to save us, or would it be too late? Only time would tell.

*********

As we stood in a row, facing our enemies, the tension in the air was palpable. The weather grew thick and quiet, as if the very earth was holding its breath in anticipation. Queen Chiara stood steadfastly by my side, and I drew strength from her unwavering presence. We were ready to strike, to vanquish the shadow monsters and make them a mere footnote in history.

"Attack!" I shouted, and we charged towards our foes with ferocity. But just as we were about to collide, a strange wall appeared, separating us from our enemies. It was as if some unseen force was trying to keep us apart.

Suddenly, the world around us plunged into darkness, and the sound of thunder shook the very ground beneath our feet. The thunder was so loud and defensive, it felt like an ominous warning of what was to come. We stood there, frozen in fear and anticipation, wondering what would happen next.

"This must be the work of Rudolph," Chiara whispered, her eyes wide with fear.

"Rudolph? Who's that?" I asked, my heart pounding in my chest.

"He's the king of the supernaturals," Chiara said, her voice barely above a whisper. "And he's not someone you want to mess with."

Suddenly, a voice boomed out of nowhere, sending chills down my spine. "I am Rudolph, and I command you all to disperse from this battle. Or face my wrath."

I looked around, but I couldn't see where the voice was coming from. "What's going on?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"Rudolph is a powerful being," Chiara said, her eyes darting around nervously. "And he's not one to be trifled with. We need to get out of here, now."

Before I could even respond, Chiara disappeared in a flash of light. I was left standing there, alone and terrified.

I turned around, ready to retreat, but to my surprise, the enemy had vanished. "What just happened?" I muttered to myself, my heart still racing.

But I knew one thing for sure: Rudolph was not to be taken lightly, and I had a feeling this was only the beginning of our troubles.
