CHAPTER NINE

CHAPTER NINE

AUTHOR'S POV

A week had passed since Lisa had unleashed the forbidden dark powers. The kings had gathered in secret to plan their attack on Rudolph, their hearts pounding with anticipation. They knew that the stakes were high and that failure was not an option.

As they deliberated, a sense of dread washed over them. The plan was simple - strike in the dead of night and kill everyone in Green Valley kingdom. Marius, now fully equipped with unimaginable powers, stepped forward and boldly declared that he would lead the charge.

The other kings gasped in shock and surprise, remembering how Marius had been defeated the first time he had attempted such a feat. But no one dared to challenge him.

The best, most dangerous and skillful warriors were chosen from the three kingdoms. They are numbered 900 in total, and they set out on their journey to Green Valley kingdom, fully prepared to burn it to the ground.

The fate of Green Valley kingdom hung in the balance, and the tension was palpable. Would they succeed in their mission, or would they be defeated once again? The answer remained shrouded in mystery.

GREEN VALLEY KINGDOM

DEREK

Breathless, the guard stumbled into the palace, his eyes wide with terror. "My king," he gasped, "I think we have a problem at hand."

My heart pounding, I demanded, "And what can be the problem at this moment of a time?"

"We heard from a reliable source," the guard said, his voice shaking, "that the three kings are attacking us tonight. And they're coming with their Best 900 warriors."

My mind raced as I tried to process the sheer number of enemy soldiers. How could my kingdom, with just 400 warriors, hope to stand against such a force?

"But that's not all," the guard continued, his voice dropping to a whisper. "It was also confirmed that they are using dark powers during the battle."

My blood ran cold. We were facing not only superior numbers, but also powerful magic. We had to act fast if we hoped to survive the night.

With a sudden burst of adrenaline, I jumped to my feet at the guard's words. The three kings were attacking us tonight, with their Best 900 warriors and dark powers? This was a nightmare come true.

"What do you suggest we do?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.

The guard hesitated before answering, "We need to gather our strongest warriors and prepare for battle. But, my king, we are outnumbered and outmatched. We need a miracle to win this war."

My heart sank at his words. We were facing certain defeat, and the fate of my kingdom hung in the balance. I knew I had to act fast, but what could I do?

Suddenly, a thought struck me. "We may be outnumbered, but we have something they don't. We have the element of surprise. We'll use our knowledge of the terrain to our advantage and launch a surprise attack on their camp before they can strike us."

The guard's eyes widened in shock and admiration. "My king, that's brilliant! But we need to move fast. They could be here any minute."

I nodded, determination setting in. "Gather our warriors and prepare for battle. We'll fight with everything we have and give it our all. We may be outnumbered, but we'll never be outmatched. This is our kingdom, and we'll defend it to the very end."

As the guard rushed out to gather our troops, I couldn't help but wonder if my plan would work. But I knew one thing for certain - this was going to be the battle of our lives.

My heart raced as I gazed out into the darkness beyond the castle walls. The sound of war drums pounded in my ears, drowning out all other noise. I turned to the guard, my voice low and urgent.

"Go and tell everyone to get ready," I commanded.

"Our enemies are knocking on our doors, and we must protect our kingdom at all costs, even if it means sacrificing our lives."

I commanded another guard and the guard bowed and hurried away, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

Suddenly, the seer appeared before me, her eyes wild with urgency.

"Protect Rudolph at all costs," she said, before vanishing into thin air.

I couldn't help but wonder why Rudolph, with all his power, couldn't protect himself. But before I could dwell on the thought, Yola interrupted me.

"My king, the elves are in deep trouble today," he said, his voice filled with fear.

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the battle ahead.

"Remember," I said, my voice firm. "Always speak good and aim to emerge victorious, no matter how many enemies surround you."

Yola's eyes widened with fear as she listened to my words. The fate of our kingdom hung in the balance, and even our strongest ally had turned her back on us. The thought of those mighty warriors taking over our land filled me with a sense of dread, but I refused to sit back and watch it happen.

"Yola," I said, my voice low and urgent. "We need to be prepared for anything. We can't let them catch us off guard."

Yola nodded, his hands shaking with anxiety. "But how can we possibly stand against them? They're too powerful."

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what I knew would be a difficult journey ahead.

"We may not have the same strength as them, but we have something they don't which is heart and with that, so we can overcome any obstacle."

Yola looked at me with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

"What do we do now, my king?"

"We fight,"

I said, my voice filled with determination.

"We fight with everything we have and we never give up, no matter how hard it gets."

As we stood there, facing an uncertain future, I knew that our fate was in our own hands. We would either rise to the challenge or fall to our enemies.

"Do you really think we stand a chance against those mighty warriors, my king?" Yola asked, her voice trembling with fear.

I gritted my teeth, my mind racing with the weight of the impending battle. "The moon goddess has already determined the winner, but I refuse to let them take over my kingdom without a fight," I growled, my anger palpable.

Yola's eyes widened. "But my king, you banned the use of powers five years ago. We have no one to fight for us now."

I clenched my fists. "We have no choice. We must use our powers to defend our kingdom."

With my heart pounding with the gravity of the situation.

"Bring forth any strategy that could make us win this battle as the fate of our kingdom hangs in the balance."

Yola nodded, determination etched on her face.

"I'll make the announcement that powers can be used during the battle,"

she said before disappearing before I could call her back.

I rushed to my weapon room, my heart racing with anticipation.

"Today is going to be a long day," I muttered to myself as I donned my armor and readied my weapons.

The fate of our kingdom rested on my shoulders, and I was ready to fight until my last breath.

**********

As the chaos erupted in my kingdom, the panicked cries of my elves echoed through the air. They darted around, desperately searching for a safe haven from the Invaders.

I stood atop the palace tower, surveying the battlefield below. The enemy was armed with strange, glowing sticks that seemed to materialize out of thin air. Suddenly, a figure rolled into the tower, causing me to freeze in terror. Who could it be? Friend or foe? I couldn't tell.
