CHAPTER FIVE

** GREEN VALLEY KINGDOM**

DEREK

My heart raced as I saw my old friends approaching. I could feel the tension building as I prepared for what was to come.

"Seems like my old friends are finally back to try my skills," I said, trying to mask the fear in my voice.

"You don't know what we have installed for you if not you wouldn't be sprouting nonsense rather you will run for your dear life," Keal, their leader, fired back, his eyes glinting with malice.

"Well, you and I know that the shadow monsters don't stand a single chance with me. I'm gonna smash you all like dust," I said, trying to sound confident.

"Ohh then what are you waiting for, just do as you said and I will show you what we got," Keal taunted.

With a burst of anger, I leaped up and dived into their midst. But to my shock, they all disappeared like dust, leaving me alone in the dark.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my back. I turned around to see a sword aimed straight at me. I dodged it just in time, but my attacker was too quick. With a swift move, I pierced my sword into his body, and he turned to smoke.

As I looked around, I realized that I was in for a long night. My old friends had returned, and they were more dangerous than ever before.

With a smirk he raised his sword, ready to strike again. But I wasn't going to give up that easily. With a sudden burst of energy, I dodged his attack and countered with a swift blow that left him reeling.

My heart raced as I prepared to strike back. I could feel the sweat trickling down my forehead as I tightened my grip on my sword. With a sudden burst of energy, I lunged towards Keal, my sword aimed straight for his heart.

But Keal was quick. He dodged my attack with ease and countered with a swift blow that sent me reeling. I stumbled backwards, my sword slipping from my grasp.

As I struggled to regain my footing, Keal towered over me, his sword pointed menacingly at my throat.

"Any last words, Derek?" he sneered, relishing in his victory.

But I refused to give up. With a sudden burst of strength, I lunged towards Keal once more, twisting and turning as I fought for my life.

The battle raged on, each of us determined to come out on top. But as the sun began to set and the sky turned blood red, it was anyone's guess who would emerge victorious.

With fierce final clash of swords, we both fell to the ground, exhausted and battered. And as we lay there, gasping for breath, I couldn't help but wonder: would this be the end of our epic battle, or just the beginning of a new chapter in our never-ending feud?

I was deep in thoughts when I noticed Keal is already standing and smirking at me.

With flames licking at my heels, my heart raced as we clashed in a battle of epic proportions. The sound of our swords colliding echoed through the air, drowning out all other noise.

As the fight intensified, Keal began to falter. His companions rushed to his aid, but I dispatched them all with a single stroke, reducing them to nothing but smoke.

With a fierce determination, I charged at Keal, ready to finish him off. But just as I was about to strike, he dropped to his knees and surrendered. My anger boiled over at his cowardice, but I knew that killing him now would be against the laws of the supernatural realm.

As Keal began to fade away, he let out a maniacal laugh and warned me that it wasn't over. The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end, but I refused to let his words shake me.

Taking a deep breath, I smiled inwardly, knowing that I had emerged victorious. But little did I know, Keal's threat was just the beginning of a much larger battle that lay ahead...

***A YEAR LATER****

NARRATOR'S POV

The Supernatural world was shrouded in a rainbow haze, but the air was thick with the sound of a wailing infant that echoed through the atmosphere. As lightning crackled and flashed, those who dared to look up were blinded by a blinding burst of light.

Trembling with fear, the inhabitants of the kingdom were on edge, their hearts pounding with anticipation.

"What could this mean?" they cried out in unison, their voices trembling with fear.

Meanwhile, the three kings who had long awaited the arrival of the chosen one, the king of the supernaturals, were pacing back and forth, their hearts racing with confusion and anger.

The prophecy had come true, just as the seer had foretold. But what would happen next? The fate of the kingdom hung in the balance, and the tension was palpable.

With bated breath, they hatched a plan to uncover the birthplace of the chosen king, knowing full well that his powers posed a grave danger to their reign. As the hours ticked by, their anxiety mounted, and the weight of their mission bore down upon them like a crushing boulder.

Suddenly, the cries ceased, and an eerie silence descended upon the land. The rainbow that had arched across the sky vanished, leaving a sense of foreboding in its wake.

And yet, while the others rejoiced, the three kings could not shake the feeling of unease that had settled deep within their souls. For they knew that the chosen one had already begun to harness his powers, and that his strength would only grow with time. And so, with a steely determination, they set out to find him, to snuff out the light before it could shine too bright.

With bated breath, the three kings made their way to the seer temple where the prophecy of the chosen one was confirmed. But the seer's warning only added to the already thick air of tension that surrounded them. The chosen one was not an ordinary child. His powers were beyond imagination, capable of surpassing even the strongest of supernaturals.

Despite the seer's warning, the three kings were determined to find the chosen one and eliminate him. Their hearts had hardened with the desire to end his life. After what seemed like an eternity, they finally discovered the place of his birth. The three kings rejoiced, their plan to attack and kill the chosen one was imminent.

Little did they know, the chosen one's powers were already in motion. The suspenseful air was thick with anticipation as the three kings made their move.

Would they be able to stand a chance against the chosen one's powers?
