050 - Ignorant Soldiers

Again, Arifin is puzzled by that man’s words. But he admits that his sword is not a normal one.

At least, he once witnessed that the sword turned so black and thick when he was trapped in that ancient ruin, before he was dragged back to the past.

“You seem to know something about this sword?” asks Arifin.

For this one, Mike turns silent for a moment. He then tells Tony to leave them, and threatens him not to try to eavesdrop.

After making sure that Tony is away from the room, only then does Mike respond to the issues raised by Arifin.

“I was always by your grandpa’s side during the great war,” says Mike nonchalantly.

“Bullshit! The great war had ended even long before I was born. Are you saying you joined war while you are still in your mom’s uterus?”

“How old do you think I am? Just saying, I was born six years earlier than your grandpa.”

Arifin scrunches his face. But Mike immediately ceases his curiosity, because there’s something more important that he needs to confirm first.
