My Form

"I placed all my bets on you, Silver Fang! You better not loose this fight!" a man yelled from the crowd, shaking his fist. "I'll f*cking kill you if you loose all my money!" heaving out a sigh, he sat down, holding his face in his palm.

"I hope I didn't make the wrong choice in betting on you..." he muttered under his breath, his eyes trailing towards the fighter in the ring.

'Geez... no one asked you to bet on me!' Kayden shouted internally, dodging a hit from his opponent. 'I won't owe you shit if I loose! Not like I plan on losing, anyway. This guy's tough, but I still have a trick up my sleeve!'

Creating distance between him and his opponent, he began to concentrate. Feeling the red energy flowing through his veins, he proceeded to channel the energy, circulating it through out his body. The red energy energized and re-enforced his cells, but that wasn't all that happened. Right there and then, his body began to change.

His pupils grew long and narrow. Furr coated his skin. His nails and teeth elongated, forming claws and razor-sharp canines. He grew taller, but larger, as well. From the change, he looked at least twice his original size. As he spoke, his voice came out coarse and somewhat affected by the form he had taken, but in the end, he didn't have much to say. He knew this match was over the moment his body started to change.

"That's it, huh? This must be your Mystery Class ability," his opponent stopped and said, his gaze showing a gint of interest.

"This form will end your career," Kayden declared with a grin.

"We'll see about that. Don't forget. I, too, haven't been using my ability during this fight," he said.

"Then why not lessen your pain and use it already?" Kayden mocked.

"Che... you bastard!" his opponent yelled,  curling his hands, but not closing them. In the palm of his hands, red balls of light began to form. Slowly, they grew in size, until they became even larger than his hands. "We'll see who's in pain once I'm done with you!"

Kayden just smirked and raised his hands up.

"This should be nothing. If I remember correctly, an attack of this caliber is nothing to this form. Although I can just dodge, there's no need to. Besides, I want to beat this guy both physically and mentally. Can't have someone coming after me once this is all over," Kayden tried to justify the reason behind his actions.

Just as expected, the attack had no effect on him. Upon impact, there was a huge explosion, even shattering a part of the arena. Due to the kind of fighters involved, the arena was set in stone, literally. There ring was a large mass of earth surrounded by a square made of reinforced steel.

His opponent let his arms fall beside him. He appeared to be breathing heavily, as his chest and shoulders moved up and down. Visible sweat could be seen on his face as well. It was clear that the attack had taken quite a bit of energy. He was just hoping that it was all worth it in the end.

"How was that? I hope it wasn't too much for ya!"

Once the dust had completely settled, an image of a werewolf appeared, with a wide grin on his face.

"Haha... you fool," in a mere second, Kayden had covered the distance between he and his opponent. With his right claw, he made a quick slash from the right shoulder, down to the left side of his waist.

"I hope this isn't too much for you," he leaned in, whispering into his opponent's ear, before letting his unconscious body fall to the ground.

Meanwhile, from the audience, a blonde-haired man was filled with joy. After a ten-second countdown, the announcer declared Silver Fang as the winner of the fight.

"I know you wouldn't let me down!" the man said, making his way down to meet the winner.

'Great, now he wants to ask me for another 'favour'. I better get outta here, ASAP,' Kayden thought, quickly using the crowd to make a swift exit.

Sitted atop a large building, Kayden gazed endlessly at the night sky. Sighing deeply, he took in the fresh air the night provided. He was still a little sweaty from the fight, but the cool breeze assisted with that. Later on, he heard a ping from his phone. Taking a lot at it, he saw that it was a notification.

"$7,000... not bad," he said with a sweet smile. "It's not exactly what I need, but at least it's something. I gotta start somewhere, right?"

In the midst of his thoughts, his phone began to ring. Seeing who the caller was, his heart began to beat rapidly. His hands were shaking uncontrollably. He couldn't even maintain his gaze on the device.

It took everything he had to stop him from dropping the phone from such a height.

"I-It's him. He's finally calling!" Kayden said, shocked.

Steeling his resolve, he picked the call.

"Took you long enough to answer. I was started to think that you were no longer interested in saving your dear old cousin," the voice on the other end started off.

"P-please! Just give me a couple more days! Look! I've already got seven thousand! I-I can get more if only you would give me more time! I promise I won't let you down!" he said frantically. Honestly, he was fighting the urge to break down in tears at that very moment.

"Hmm... seven thousand... although it's no where near the agreed sum. You seem like a hard working kid. Tell you what. You have three days left. You give me the money before the deadline, then you will have your sister back. If you don't, then you'll still get her back. Well, part of her back," the man said.

Kayden's heart sank upon hearing the last part.

"Don't worry! I won't let you down!" he replied. Without saying anything else, the man on the other end cut the call leaving Kayden's brain racing with thoughts.

"I... I need to keep on fighting tonight..." he said listlessly, before standing up and getting off the balcony. His previously confident and aloof demeanor had been stripped. Of course, that was just his way of coping with the stress of things.

He had made it back into the underground brawling centre. Although matches were pre-planned, one could take another fighter's place if said fighter wasn't in a good condition to compete.

"Hey, Silver Fang! What do you want!" a man yelled, not really in the mood to speak with anyone. He was the next person to step into the ring after the current match was over. He had been training for this for a while now. He didn't want anything or anyone you distract him at this crucial point in time. This match was really important to him.

"Nothing, really," Kayden replied, his pupils narrowing. "Nothing your spot in the next match can't give me," he said.

________

"According to what I'm hearing, the Bruiser is unable to compete. Someone else has agreed to fight in his place. Ooh! This is write strange. It seems like Silver Fang is the one fighting instead."

Kayden was already on his way to the ring, after his little 'chat' with the Bruiser, he would be fighting in his place instead.

'This Galaxy guy seems to have a razor class ability. Luckily, my Werewolf claws can deal with them!'

His opponent known as Galaxy made his way to the ring, and without wasting any more time, the match began. Galaxy quickly went to work slashing at the air. For someone who knew nothing about abilities, they would think that this guy was out of his mind. However, that wasn't the case at all.

This was what he could do with his ability. Attack Transport is his ability. It allows him to create attacks and send them towards his opponent. What this meant was that he didn't have to physically touch his opponent to harm him. However, one downside to the ability was that the attacks he would produce and transport are visible.

This meant that Kayden could easily slash at the attacks, destroying them as long as he was quick enough. That what exactly what he did, and slowly, he made his way closer to his opponent.

"Silver Fang... you really are a strong fighter," the blonde-haired man said to himself, not regretting his decision to place his bets on him once again.

'This guy... he's making quick work of my attacks. I need to try something different.'

Jumping up in the air, the Galaxy began to produce a plethora of attacks, this time, using them to surround his opponent.

'Let's see you cut through all of these,' he thought with a wide grin on his face. 'Although this may be enough to injure him, it may not be enough to take him out of the fight. Plus, I need to be careful. It's not like I have a large amount of Mana. My Mana regeneration isn't even that fast in the first place.'

Kayden, having been surrounded, decided to try out another trick himself.
