68. Too late

Contrary to his claims, Jaden was not strong enough to walk to the orphanage. Aslan decided to stop for a moment so Jaden could rest. They took a break while buying food for the orphanage children, while sitting and drinking fresh young coconut ice in the middle of the hot sun.

It was around three o'clock in the afternoon, but the sun was still eager to shine on the earth. They walked for a while and were already drenched in sweat.

"Here you go," a woman handed Aslan his food order.

"Thank you," Aslan said, taking the order and then sharing it with Jaden so they could carry it together.

"I'm still tired," Jaden complained, but he stood up and walked after Aslan.

"Just a little bit more, cheer up!" Aslan exclaimed, which made Jaden regret following Aslan.

Jaden was a homeboy, and when he went out, he never walked. Jaden also had mediocre grades for sports, because he was lazy to move.

He should have suggested a taxi ride to Aslan earlier.

"Is it still take a long time?" Jaden complaine
